So I've created this sketchbook 'cus I rwally need help, so go ahead on critiques. I need them! I started drawing for serious +-2 years ago (I'm 21 and feel very late on art skills :|). The truth is I do a lot of stuff and I don't have mutch time for drawing as I wish so I guess my evolution in the last 2 years it's not good enought. That's why I'm asking for help.
About my work:
I'm working on digitals (and traditional sometimes..)mostly equestrian art.. I'm not paying atention to human body right now. I need to learn looots of stuff about horse anathomy.
I have some troubles I've noticed since I started drawing. First of all I have some dificulties when it comes to proportions and forms.. I don't know why... I just know in the end something is wrong. :| I think that's my big problem about drawing and it's really bad. I need to fix it.
I'm also still having some trouble trying to make my lines expressive when I'm working on gesture. So I gess I'm missing a lot of the basics.
When it comes to digital painting I'm kind of struggling to find the texture I look for... Soon I will post some finished works I've recently made for experiements so you can understand what I'm talking about.
I allways have that feeling that everything is ugly and wrong when everybody says it's awesome... I can't really look at my work. It looks allways bad to me.
(sorry if I make something stupid I'm still geting used to the website )

study the forms, and be sure where the light comes from. so if the area is in the shadow, the line will be stronger if you are struggling with forms and perspective, go check out the very first basics stuff, like cubes and stuff. sometimes we feel to advanced to study things like this but thats the way you study something, finding its basic forms. also, doing these basics stuff will help you to get a better understanding for perspective and value automatically. sure you will also need to do detailed value studies and stuff but i dont think that this is your current goal so go on with the basics and have fun.

Yuniken: Thank you veeery much! Yes you're right about the light and lines. I'm allways so worried about everything elese I keep forgeting about the weight of the lines. Gonna pay more attention on that for my next studies.
Sometimes I go back to those basics but I guess I just need more time for all that. Gonna look at them more often. ^-^
I've been so out of here lately... But I've come back with a new digital painting experience. Still having trouble with edges and textures. I'm looking for more realism. Any advice about techniques, brushes or\and brush settings...? (I'm using PH cs5 Extended, btw).
