I haven't spoken to a lot of you since the workshop in the summer time... that's a long ass time! There's been a lot of new users since I was last on too. There's a lot of amazing work on here. And if you don't know me, or remember me, my name is Spencer and I'm a 2nd year Visual Communications Major at the Alberta College of Art and Design and my website can be found at http://www.monkeyslunch.com.
Hopefully if I post a few sketches every now and then I might get some crits or something!
Some of these were roughs for projects at school. The thing that resembled a chess board actually was a project (they're pushing the smaller girly piece into a hole of spikes, it's just a cruddy photo), and same with the Otter man.

pretty cool crud...
Love that chessboard piece. Very origonal (sp?) and well executed.
shweet, thanks dude.
Here's another one that I dug out of the mess.
Wow those women are really sexy. Except...about the first one, are boobs that big even possible?
Here's hoping, my friend.
haha, yeah, I should really stop doing that. My instructors are starting to give me weird looks at school when we illustrate Adam and Eve and they're both a little more well endowed than they probably should be.
A joke self portrait for class. I got bored and sleepy... bad things happen.
At least no one got hurt, y'know? Hopefully there will be beautiful women the next time I post something. haha
Lil bit of watercolor practice on our lovely model, Karen.
Some more sketches and figure drawing!
Lots of personality and imagination coming through in your drawings....
sorry folks, not only did my computer crash for a while there but I lost a lot of work too!
Let's see what we got here!
Doodles of Joe Kubert
Nice work! Keep going. :-)
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
Perspective 101, Concept Art 101, Games Industry info,Oil Paint info, Acrylic Paint info, my sketchbook.

Its been a while!
My computer died for a while, did some crazy things over the summer, went to Japan, I'm in 3rd year Visual Communications now. Here's a bunch of my sketches/process work and different things. I'm going to be part of the Popgun anthology that's coming out from Image and some of my process work will be thrown up here as well.
