BlankSlate: May20th : Holy Cow, I posted an update!

Ok everyone, so my old sketchbook...a little over 2 years running now..is a bit buried and quite frankly I'd rather put aside all that old stuff and start a fresh book. So here goes!

Random doodles:

ZOMBIE PRETEENS!

Concepts and Wips for a 3d project I'm working on:

model w/ texture, about 40-50% complete or so...maybe.

Like my old book, which anyone can view here I plan on making this a mixture of 2d, 3d, and texture painting.

More to follow soon, er.. I hope.

cool man. nice to see an update finally. the 16-64 pieces were great, really awesome for being so small. anyway, congrats on graduating to a new sketchbook, nice pieces, and good luck with the new project. does the chick fly? i hope so; it would suck if she just had boots that heavy just for looks. take care dude.

Hey man, fresh sketchbook = cool!

Definitely dig that first doodle. Also the concept for this jet girl thing. The model/texture has come along nice, particularly in the machine legs area. I wanna see the texture flat! Looking to see the detail that you'll add to the rest of the body. Life drawings nice. Cartoon drawings nice. Zombie drawing (homage to cody?) nice.

Is that six-pack guy you? I know you have been the working out WINK!

purb: thanks man! Yep, the chick flies, she's got rocket boots and I added a jetpack too.
carnifex: Good eye, you got it, the shoe was the only thing I DID use reference on, so I'm not suprised it feels a little displaced.
noah: new model = possibly.
andy: I'll post the finished flats once I, er, finish them. As I was doodling zombies I was reminded of cody, but then again, who doesn't think of cody when they think of zombies. The six pack guy is definitely NOT me... he's some famous body builder with weird overdeveloped arms, proportional to the rest of him at least. I don't know his name.
twisted -thanks!

So, not much of an update, but I'm finally allowed to post my TQ stuff. Posted here are some of the assetts I worked on. I'm still building a few more presentation pieces, and will show them soon!

Hey Joe! Changing sketchbooks on me, you sneaky bastard!
Nice stuff, man! I really like all those weapons! Right-click-save to "inspiration" folder!
All those items and envirnment pieces for Titansquest are really cool, too, and that rocket chick is awesome! It's good to see that you haven't lost your touch!

Anyway, can't wait for the next update, catch you later, man!

New sketchbook stuff! DEcember 6th!

FINALLY I got around to scanning and updating this thing. Been mostly doing the 3d, but sometimes I get to sketch. Here's some of the stuff I'm a little happier with from my book:

These next four are from a sketchtrade with KillingPeople, Sectaurs, and Poopinmymouth.

next two are from some reference photos

I'm quite happy with how the little color study came out..was doing an experiment with only a warm color pallette:
