My guarding angel is a double agent !!
Man real nice!!! No C&C at all! The last post is realy .... hell great! I was like: "Is this a picture?!?!?... Oh my God!" Keep it up. Hope you can take a look at my sketchbook (it's not that great!!- see I'm the one whose looking for C&C)
yup, i totally agree with what was said here. But where are the dude's arms? I am joking here. This is really impressive. My and my colegue (genegulescu up there) had both the same reaction: is this a picture? Nooo? Geeezaaaas!! So what can i say more..nothing...just that i can't wait to see what u can come up with next.
Check put my schetchbook if you please
I like the bald guy and the gothic bestiary page a lot. More!
Es gibt immer etwas.
sorry i have to ask, is that "lost" guy a paint over ?
I really like the demon creature. I reackon you've got a pretty good sense of design. The blood seems a bit pointless, if you where implying "the author" was killed while writing it, it would be cool to leave some of the text half finished with some scribbles at the end. or just use coffee rings instead of the blood
Uhh its lock out of LOST.... That is a nice piece of work there ramiel, u must of had a good reference to work from.
Regarding your Character design its really nice to see your actual design layout participating your character
I wonder what else you got in your draws? Any old stuff u havent scanned in yet?
I really love the page of beasts and scribbly handwriting. Has an ancient book look to it. I'm a sucker for things like that.
Yes, I'm not so good as "painter" (in the common sense), so, I've made it as a personal "study"...Originally Posted by Tobin

And about the "bestiary" page...
Well, I'm trying to realize a necronomicon-ish (...) book, so, these pages will be printed without stains or blood or whatever, and when the book will be finished, I'll try to weather it and distress it like an old "cursed" book...
BTW, Thank you all for the comments, and sorry for my English...
Its good practice for you knowledge of technique, once you have no opacity on the paint layer.Originally Posted by ramiel
But dont rely on it. Because you wont learn alot of the really important aspects from it.
Well, I've studied traditional painting at school (oils, watercolors, acrylics...) But I have no more time (and money and space) at the moment, to do traditional painting, so, I'm trying to learn the digital painting, and I'm working with the "same" technique I was using for oil painting, with a BIG difference... The UNDO command!
Dude, I beg to differ on the "not interesting" comment, that last painting has me drooling. Although it is much better work than what I am churning out here, I felt like something was off about her lower body and the ground seemed way to flat but, boy am I digging the top half! Great work...
Cool Locke pic.
Well, the idea for that dragon comes from (...drumroll...)
Ok, probably this isn't the best explanation, but it's real...
And yeah, the colour scheme is final fantasy-ish (that was the idea...)
Sorry for my poor English...
