Nice update. The places where the light floods in are a bit overexposed, but it fits the title so well.

Contrast II has many elements that I like. The contrast, grain, composition, light, person. You used to most a lot more though, if I remember correctly. Let's see more.

I've only gone through the first page so far but I must say I liked what I saw, I'll have to look through the rest tommorow. My favorite was the bullet train set, but there's lots of other interesting stuff too.

Black and white

I shall not go about telling you what has happened in the last months. Long story short, everything eventually turns into a photo.

Catch you on the flipside.

Thanks guys.

Rascar, i agree with you to some extent. However i do feel that the second version lets you focus better on the face of the subject. I like 'em both.

Minimal... again :)

So, I'm kinda back to minimalism with this one.

Yeah, i know it's not symmetric, it wasn't supposed to be.

Well, first, tis be a study of lines and position of subject in composition according to guidelines.

Secondly, tis be composition that has been in my mind for quite some while, and the same goes for the processing.

Thirdly, it goes with some text:

"And then sat down quietly, looked at the leaves on the cement and the magenta pixels in the air. Took a deep breath.

"Pink snowflakes ? Or are they pixels?". Laid herself down to watch the pixels falling from the sky.

"Pink snowflakes..." she said to herself closing her eyes.
"

Bout the thanks and groans... methinks chocolates and tabblets.

the B&W i love, i have been moving in that direction my self of late. your eye for composure is spot on, i like the narrow depth of field you are using. The yellow one, its completely random, strange, i like it. the simplicity and the striking color are unusual. I don't like the pink pixel one at all. i know it has a meaning behind it. but a image should say something on its own. and this didn't say anything to me.

sorry i had to say that last bit, i had to be honest though

ok, that makes a little more sense. But I think, this picture isn't stand-alone, it is one part of a multimedia project. No complaints about that. But maybe I'd like to see a flash animation/presentation/slideshow, you know words and pictures. Putting images like this in their proper context would make all the difference I think. Whenever I comment on your work, I'm not griping about stuff like composition, as Sam noted, you've got that figured out, I'm just trying to look at the bigger picture here.
