awesome thingy O_OOOO
like her *dynamic* body
((((but the face could be sweeter))the pencil version looks cool.. the colored versions .. she looks stoned or something ) maybe because of the eye .. the pencil version is bit bigger then the colored))
The eyes are half assed ya, but what do you mean by "sweeter"?
Looks great right now.. The high pupils sorta make her look stoned as sideshowbob said. What's up with the line right through her abdominal section?
That line I don't know, its a remnant of the sketch.
Any way I can fix the "stoned" eyes?
I think lowering the pupils and etc. might work, she just has that dazed look where your eyes are looking up really far.
she has this stoner/mellow look.
IMO, i think you should tweak the face here and there and make her a bit more sexy and appealing, and maybe have her looking at us or something.
also her nose seems to be out of perspective. it looks as if it is going to off to her right (our left).
keep looking between the sketch nose and the color WIP nose, and you will see that you have changed the nose.
hope that helps

Uhm I slightly changed the eyes lets see if its better now.
Uhm ya Ian you're right the nose is different from the original sketch might have to fix that after, thanks for pointing it out.
hmm.. her eyes .. make her look stoned or cross-eyed
one eye is looking at you*me .. the other is looking somewhere else * thats how it looks to me .. i dunno*
i took ur face and tried bit with the eyes
iam not as good as u .. but i think u can see what i mean..
*i like how the third head looks .. clandestine .. u can adjust the eyes to punctuate that look*expression**
or maybe the eye just look wrong to me.. i really dont know
Ok I compared the first head that you painted over with mine and I FINALLY see it .
cool thing cant wait to see the final thingy
good job, keep up the good work.
Slow progress, been busy with school and all.
I need some feedback please.
1. if one of the cross bones emerged on the left side of her face (our left) it would help to pop out her face a little more. right now, its doing that for her shoulder, and the shoulder isnt nearly as important (or as interesting).
2. in the initial sketch she was looking at us, she isnt anymore. perhaps this was intentional, or maybe you just lost the drawing a little. either way, it was sexy when she was looking at me. much more engaging!

I hate to say it, but I think the pic got worse as you progressed
It's just the when i saw the intial pencils, i was about to write down that it was one of the prettiest illustrations of a female I'd seen in a while, especially nice works on the legs, the anatomy is schweet. But the coloring job seems like the thing you'd see on a weird fantasy web comic. BUT.. you're still far better than I am at coloring, lol. So just keep up the good work with pencils.. and keep practicing your colors
DSillustration: I'll look into that.
Ya the stare got screwed up as I changed it to look less
Interceptor: I'm flattered that you like the linework, but I would like to
know what you think the problem is with the coloring, since
you dont like that much.
The main thing is I have no idea where the light source is. There's brightness on the extremes of both arms, and on her chest. But the top of her ehad seems very dark, which is a bit strange sicne the light also glistens on the top of her shoulder armor on the same side. But the light could have multiple sources, so if that's the case, my apologies . The most noticable thing though, is that line shaowing her cheeck is a bit TOO extreme, she looks like she's kind of aging or letting herself go. Not the same kind of smooth skinned young gal as in the lineart.
And some of ther coloring seems very sharp, like with her hair, but others somewhat blurry, such as her legs. Like it was 2 different styles.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a terrible picture by any means. I really like it, just judging by certain parts of it, it looks like you have the skill to make it a GREAT pic.
If you are refferring to the right leg(hers), that one I didnt get to it yet.
Yes the hair is subpar but I fixed it, I just didn't post an update.
As for the lightsource, I am not going to say "Oh its a multiple lightsource"
I just didn't plan it, so my bad on that.
Thanks for the insight.
Nice, I figured as much with the leg, it is a WIP, so if I sounded condescending or anything, my bad.
keep up the good work.
I addressed some of the things said, I made the cheek crease less pronounced, given the face a more youthful look and changed the stare.
The red accent on the lips, do you like or do you hate it?
Should I take it out?
i love the new look you gave her. makes her a whole lot cuter.
the only 2 things bothering me is the skull on her chest seems off perpective. The angle of the breast is more rounded than what the skull and crossbones are interpreting it as.
also you can try to up the exaggeration of the perspective on the '13' on her arm to help show that its wrapping around a cylinder form.
hmm...also i think she is trying to reach for her gun with her left arm. if this is the case, then i think you should push the perspective on the arm just a tad more. the black and white squares on her arm should also be adjusted to match the perspective. that will also add in the illusion of the arm reaching back for the gun.
and maybe increase the angle in were the hand meets the wrist (more like a "L" than a "l")to show that she is without a doubt reaching for the handle.
the second thing is just how the suit gets sorta lost with the skin on the body, but its probably just cause your not there yet.
so i guess its only one thing bothering me... wait one more thing:
you might want to get rid of the design on her eyepatch because its too small to see what it is.
either that, or simplify the design a lot.
well, i guess that does it for now... cant wait to see your next update!

Thank you for the great insight iAn , I will take note of your remarks.
Nice pic, especially the pencils. The colors look a bit flat and are somewhat confusing. The massive black of the flag flattens the pic a lot, if you'd work some atmospheric blue into it or greyed it a bit, I think it would add depth to the pic. A little more blue or red in the darker skinareas would be nice and liven it up, also a hint of colour in the shadows on the costume would be great. There's a bit to much black in the pic in my opinion.
Oh, yeah, I love the checkered fields and crossbones on her costume.
Ah! I came looking for this pic right away this morning. The face looks much better now, just as cute as in the pencils!
I forgot to add how much I like her pose, as well the first tiem around. I have a huge trouble with girly poses like that.
As for the red mark on the lips, I like it. It's a personal touch, like that little mark under Bass' eye from megaman.
