i guess since it is my first post ill do a short intro thing.. 23 years old, still very much a learner, have lurked here for several years, never posted due to a lack of talent.. am focusing on lifedrawing now, line control, proportions, correct anatomy n whatnot.. and hands, i hate hands.. they're evil... ive started a sketchbook that i plan on doing ONLY hands in.. i will most certainly go insane

did these yesterday
wasnt very productive today
will be starting skull drawings tomorrow
I think you'll be pretty darn well off when you start skull practice like you mentioned. I'm hardly one to talk, but the weaker parts of the sketches seems to be the heads. Can see that your hands definitely improved from that though. Big difference from the first pages and now. I dont know how big a sketchpad your using, but from the looks of it maybe try sketching a little larger, fill that page. Keep it up.
Not bad at all!
Its already been said, you could benefit from skull and face studies. (I have the same problem myself. faces hate me!)
Keep drawing from ref, and you`ll be awesomely good in no time at all!
i use a dinky canson 9x12 sketchbook.. ive always shy'd away from filling a whole page with one picture, since i guess i figured since im not that great, its suck a waste to blow a whole piece of paper with one bad picture when i could fit THREE bad pictures on it....
or something, whatever
just one today, because i procrastinate.. bad
any actual C&C would be appreciated.. im not fishing for comments, but getting more input on what im doing right and wrong would be helpful.. only bouncing this stuff off 2 or 3 people daily and not getting the feedback that i want
just one today.. human bodies are weird and annoying
life drawing on mondays... huzzah
i gotta learn how to do proper gestures.. way to many lines
good work Shino. Theres some cool anatomy stuff here, its coming along nicely (better thn my anatomy at the moment). I think ure hand gestures are really well drawn, u can draw them really accuratly without the use of lots of lines, some good talents. Nice work.
just one page of hands today.. i am jacks lack of discipline
i dunno what happened to the head on the third one.. that was just scary
Totally diggin' the effort, man. You'd really benefit from some life drawings and I'd love to see you hit up them pencils and render things a bit more. The hands are looking pretty good too. Keep on truckin'!
went with gestures today.. all 1 minute.. wasnt really happy with any of them, but oh well
omg gesture drawing explosion.. all 1 minute
i think this was the best stuff ive ever done.. i think the gestures and the 25 min ones were the better ones... which means i can draw ok fast or slow, but not in between.. interesting.. crits welcome

foreshortening is the devil
I love the simplicity, most of it looks very clean and it seems like you know what youre doing. I only have a few minor crits, first of all your lines and shadows seem a bit hard try to loosen your grip and stroke with a few simple shading exercises. Like shading in a shphere or drawing a gradiend, from black, through most grays, to white. Another good way of shadowing that you should try more is crosshatching.
anyway thats my 2 cents, keep drawing dude...late
yeah i havent posted in forever.. hoping for a second wind.. i need to hire someone to call me up at random times during the day to yell at me to draw...
omg you drew! I still dig the footlicking page. The dark eyed girl is nice too.
