Skillz? yes! haha, great stuff, you definitely have an eye for environments they are really well done. I can't wait to see some more
ALEXANDRE da Vinci, thank you!
Jeremy Swan, thank you, very encouraging
Leon Roé, thanks!
xbert, thank you. You are absolutely right, i usually start everything with pretty large brushes, but i always switch to very small ones too early, i ll work on that
LtPlissken, Haha, thank you, A LOT more to learn too
Little sketch from yesterday, still feel somehow uncomfortable with the overall colors...
What a good start to a sketchbook.
Those greyscales blew me away, I've been trying to
do similar things and failing this gives me another
idea how to approach it. Keep posting up dude, interested
in seeing what else you can do
Just have fun.
Really sweet work man! Especially like that last one. But you could do with being a bit softer in some areas I think. Like in places your showing atmospheric perspective or dust being kicked up.
Invalid User, thank you To be honest, i like those b/w enviros too, especially because its always something like a struggle for me to find the right colors
Aveh, thank you for your kind words and i am happy if i could give you a new idea how to approach to something you want I think working in greyscale is a great way to find the right values in a early stage of an image and to find the proper composition without concentrating on too much else.
daflom, thank you
Kalin, thanks a lot!! I never played Assassins Creed, but of course know some images of the game and it reminded me of it too
Malakuko, thank you. You are absolutely right with the last one, i think especially some fog could help a lot. I will change this if i find the time and will to continue with that piece
Feil Magnus, thanks a lot!! To work out the focal point properly is very often a problem for me, i work on it
Its just a very small update this time, just a quick sketch, mainly for color and composition, although i am not really happy with the composition yet, but i dont know what bothers me...
Critiques are most welcome
WOW you're stuff is amazing!
Incredible concepts, especially love the colors and lighting
Wow great start man. Really like the last two enviros
america220, thanks a lot
fantasyartist, thanks a lot for your kind words
Stantz, thanks mate !!
lys, thank you too
GEB, thanks a ton
n1frit, thanks. I think so too, rendering and painting technic is something i really need to improve and i try too, think especially my brushworks needs a lot more practice.
Vaejoun, thanks, and you are right, those characters definitely could use a couple more hours, but i usually have problems to continue working on something that old, i rather like to start something new and try to avoid doing the same mistakes i did in the older one
Quick sketch from today, didnt have much time, did not have any inspiration, was not patient at all...terrible day
hey mate great environments! the newer ones are looking alot sharper, which is great more!
Freaking awesome, I really dig your style. This one is going in my bookmark map Art Inspiration. Give us more
Mighty fine work you have here. You need some stars.
