Here's some artwork I did for Killzone 3. I had a really good time working on this project with so many incredibly talented artists.
The Helghast space station production design shown below (last two images of this post) is a collaborative effort between the amazing Mike Hill and myself.
Hope you like them!
I really like the first 4
I might get my copy of KZ3 next work
Wow, disgustingly amazing! If Killzone didn't give me heart issues I would definitely pick up part 3. Amazing work.
absolutely top notch! thanks for sharing these.
Just awsome!! The game was so amazing as well Great job on everyone who worked on killzone 3 man! Love your game!
Stunning work, man. You continually humble me with your speed and no-nonsense approach to design. It's been a blast working with you (and all the other guys) on this project.
It's a shame how so much work and thought has to be represented by only a handful of pictures on a forum, but I know how much you contributed to the project. Can't wait to see what's next!
"It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?"
wow, breathtaking... strong concept and flawless design, do you use any fotomontage to your design !?
Always stunned by the stuff you post. Amazing work man!! I'm always floored by the energy you can keep in your pieces when bringing them to incredible detail.
Well done dude.
If you don't know.......research !!
wow tack sharp. too sharp imo but cool work.
played killzone 3 demo, so boring. it's no different than any modern shooters.
on the fourth day of glitchmas my painter™ gave to me
four random crashes, three broken brushes, two system hangups & one corrupted workspace
the helghast space station is truly impressive, well done jesse van dyk. thanks for sharing these wonderful works.
Oh wow these were beautiful! Very sharp and exact!
I think as far as I can remember these are my favorite games concept designs I have seen.
The reason being is that they are treated as fully rendered finished masterpieces. The entire time I was thinking "isn't this too much effort for a concept?".
I am very impressed by how polished these are.
I applaud you.
These are awesome!
Amazing work!! I checked out your site as well and was stunned!! Do you have any process shots of any of your work? I'm curious to see the development of your environments.
Life is a long lesson in humility.

David! Good to see you're still alive man, been watching your awesome new works recently. Have fun in Budapest!
Pavel Sokov>> The level of detail in these paints is generally required, as everything should be easily interpretable by level designers, lighting artists, and so on.
stalsby>> thanks man. Unfortunately no WIP shots for these.
again, many thanks all!
what a sick guy. AMAZING.
To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.
