some more stuff....
Hey Tronobot, great start man!
Heres a guy i think is incredible and ive found looking at his drawings like being taught by a master...
Nice work, liking the various angles of the faces!
keep it up chief
MrMagic - thanks alot i do have one loomis book, its called "figure drawing for all its worth" but i havent managed to study from it much. thanks for the link!
Velocity Kendall - thanks for ur comment and ur right, that guy is such a pro. i could learn alot from him. thanks again
Providenc - thanks alot for the comment
thanks everyone (more work coming soonish)
Very interesting works composition-wise. Even though your characters look very stylized, most of them are convincing. I think you should play more with line weight and the style of line art, try some more calm and curvy style. Definitely try to incorporate tone into your works - lineart is fine by me, but I think it wouldn't hurt to have some value variation. Keep em coming
Thanks for your comment Moonrage, i will definately take your advice on playing with different line styles, and tone, too. im very lacking in tone - i barely do it atall. thanks for pointing that out
Looking good, stylized, but don't fall victim to that too quickly, vary up your lines, explore a little, maybe try to get more curves in your lines, they seem a little stiff atm (unless that's what you're going for)
also, i'd like to see how you do with color, but nice studies, and keep it uP!
this is great. how did you get the lines so damn neat? be good to see it bigger, with some colour.
i used a fineliner, and its an a3 size. mmm yer maybe i should try colour it? not one of my strenghs........thx 4 comment
Dope Fiend - thanks for your comment.
yeah...i think this is the rut im talking about. thanks for your suggestions, they mean a great deal to me. i think i mite do some realistic studies soon, and mix things up like u mentioned. and color will come soon, that's one of my weak points to be honest.
some more that i need to put up
some colour this time..
this is superwin
reminds me of inka essenhigh
yeah essenhigh is wild; my favourites are (i can remember the crazy names)
Pegasus, and Supergod... they rank as soe of the coolest paintings ive ever seen.
shes really hot too.
yeah man sick detailing in that paint? bang the black in, why not. outlines his head better that way.
are you a graffer?
yeah i definately got to check her out more, and she is hot
yeah i do some here and there, not much tho.
oo i like what u did with the painting, looks slick
stuff from today, theres 1 pic that i don't like atall, (first one) but i promised myself id post even if it looks shit. crits anyone? cheers guys. btw thanks Velocity for regularly looking at my sketchbook thread, havent got many comments yet but ur making me feel welcome
thats all for today.
Great sense of presentation, your off to an awesome start.
Scetchbook: View the exhibitionist's stuff.
Absolutely loving your work. You have a very distinct style- would work great in animation storyboarding and that type of thing.
"If it was easy, everyone would do it"

thanks alot Sady

currently working on this....sorry if u can't really see it, im drawing it light so i can ink it later. ill prob attempt to colour this too, stay tune'd folks.
which reminds me, ive got a question if anyone wishes to help. how can i put a link under all my posts with my sketchbook thread? i should really know, but im stupid. thanks in advance!
Hey man, its been ages! Hows it going? Your bashing stuff out at an amazing rate, and its all recognisably 'you'.
ONly thing Id say is maybe try doing stuff thats totally different as well as the cool graf style stuff, like from the opposite end of the spectrum, like watercolours of the sea or an Aztec pyramid made of gold, yknow, kill that confort zone type thing.
The one Partisan picked out is particularly interesting.. reminds me of that sweet 80s movie Inner Space...
