Hey dude thanks again for visiting my sketchy bewk!
Keep up your studies man, draw more if you the more you draw the better..
Even if you dont rly have time to get a studybook out, u scribble.. but aslong as ur pencil is touching paper you'd be improving :o
So keep it up dewd! Post up some more
Hey main, keep whipping out the studies and imaginative they are getting better. The sooner the quicker! Ill be back soon.
Yes, you just know the art of 'not updating', hahahaIt was a while since my last update.
Anyway, great to see that you did some nice figure drawings.
Everything is great, you just do more of those and do not hold yourself
back from posting them. I am here to support you all the time my friend.
Thanks for dropping inn. Cheers
Yeah I'm sure having problem with those clothes, and as far I can see I need to do some more legs studies, thanks for the hint
Some more detailed piece is coming soon; I need to find some inspiration, and a little time, maybe during weekend .
No problem mate, I like to visit your sketchbook every time, there is a whole lot of inspiring stuff in there. Thanks for visiting my sb .
Hope to see you soon
well, I'm a bit lazy cause this holiday break, I'm getting back to my normal life, so I hope to see myself doing studies, and start to work harder in general. Thanks for visit and support, I really appreciate your presence cheers!
Ok! Today I present only one small cartoony piece As some of you said. One is always better than none. Next time, I'll update more, I promise
hy^^, i like level3, it' s cool^^, women that dance his great^^, (sorry for my bad english) see you soon^^
LOL this is cool. like that evil grin on the piggy's face. only one crit from me. never use pure black and pure white. it ruins the entire look of an image. practically, theres no such thing called 'pure black' nor 'pure white'.
keep it up mate. looking forward to see some more stuff. oh btw dont take another month to make the next update. :p
'Ka-BOOOOM baby!' - said the pig rushing away from
the bombed shelter. The pig is a smart animal, and you are not
a lazy person anymore cause you updated again.
I respect that.
it's not about the program you can use any graphic program to achieve such effect. I recomend gimp if you don't wanna spend money for photoshop
I definetly won't be doing such a long break again xD thx for the hint with those blacks. I new this principle, but I thought that it's applies only for painting, and in those cartoony/doodly stuff I can be more loose.
I'm still a bit lazy, but not as much as during the holyday break I'm doing a big still nature drawing, and I hope I will be able to post effects of my work soon.
Anyways until I finish my drawing I'm posting abother doodles, this time it's unfnished storyboard for my comic strip. I wanted to apply some color, but I like the way it is now ;p.
Promising comic book. Will there be some brutality and blood
in it? This guy is following this other guy, and then he spots him
and then this other guy is surprised. That is the way I have
realized it till now.
Hardly can wait to see the big nature drawing.
Im sorry i have no crits for you this time mate. Simply because i love the last update. it looks so cool! the frames are artistic too. A job well done! lets see more!
Muahaha now this is a really cheap excuse mate. lets get those colored now shall we?I wanted to apply some color, but I like the way it is now ;p.
I think you need to work a little more on the clothing of some of these characters (like the wrinkles/ folds on the arms) but other than that this is a pretty cool strip! I love the perspective you've put in some of the panels
art is never finished, only abandoned~Leonardo da Vinci
i rly like those cartoon pieces you just did man.. the one with the pigs is nice and colorful.
U could maybe try to add like a blueish gray over the ones in the back so the distance between the figures becomes stronger. You have done a bit, but could have been a bit stronger in my opinion, especially over the explosion.
but the expressions on the faces are really cool these last two faces in the last update are really nice.
Lookin forward to seeing some more stuff m8
Keep it up!
This storyboard is for one strip comic I made for 'Comic Battles'. Well exactly it came out that I didn't have enough time to make comic based on this storyboard and this storyboard become the comic I made for those comic battles. Well I won my battle, but only because my opponent did a poor strip . Lucky me. If you want, I can translate this strip to English and send it to you by PM, I won’t post it here ;P. And the big still nature will be finished soon, I hope.
Hah! When I was posting last time I was sure that you will make me color it xD I appreciate your support xD I'll be posting more color stuff, when I'll understand how value works . First things First my friend
Yeah that’s true and I remember that someone mention it before you. I was never paying attention to clothing, I'll surly add this to my 'to do list' in the nearest future. Thanks
I was trying to show this distance between characters by using lighter lines. But you are right. It would be better if I applied some grays. Thanks for visiting my SB and useful advice, cheers.
Ok, a small speed painting for today. It's not perfect but it was a while since I painted digitally and I'm definitely out of practice. I'll do more such stuff in the nearest future.
Oh and especially for Devastacio I'm posting a colored version xD. Cheers and thanks for your comments .
Looks like you artwork is improving and you are becoming more articulate. Maybe try ot draw from life more aswell.
Even if you think the object you draw is boring, you may still end up with a really nice drawing. I think drawing from life helps to improve your observation and your overall patience. Keep up the good work
The legs have a gesture like some anime fanart girls... it doesn't suit him.
Shading with black or almost black makes paintings muddy.
These trouble me the most with your last painting, I don't want to tear it apart and make you cry
I'm glad you made this btw. Oh if I would dare to paint a whole figure and not a copied study at that...
Man, i just popped into your sb just to figure out i nearly missed an update!
well lets see. His legs remind me of some female porn star. LOL no offence. hes a warrior much more aggressive pose. watching couple of films like King Arthur, Gladiator, Conan etc etc will give you some super cool ideas. The other biggest problem is your brushwork. When you lower the opacity of the brush your brushwork gets usually muddy. instead use 100% opacity but reduce the layer opacity instead. Also, your heavy use of pure black ruins the image.
But i really really appreciate your effort. Hell yeah! i even cant draw the torso yet even so i call it a bloody good try! Lets see some more work mate. i always enjoy when you guys do color jobs coz i cant do it yet anyways.
I would be delighted to see the translated version of your comic book.
However, I would not like to put you in some unnecessary commitments.
If you feel you have the will, time and motivation you can translate it.
I like the barbarian.
Looking forth to see your next ones.I'll do more such stuff in the nearest future.
Thanx for visiting my SB, really appreciate! I like your last work, but, hey, what's up with his legs??? It looks like... like he wants to pee?? O_o. I'd suggest to not do it so crossed at the bottom and it'll be very good painting! Keep posting!New comics stories!
I never think that object I'm drawing is boring. Even an ordinary plate is interesting, when you watch closely and see this whole stuff that is going on the surface. I mean, shadows, reflections and stuff Thanks for dropping inn
I remember that I was pretty satisfied with the final result. I know it does not look good when the it's so much black color on the figure, but it was not my intention to execute this illustration correctly. I wanted to play around and experiment . I'm aware most errors I made on that one, thanks for comment, and your crits. I appreciate them .
These legs actually look ridiculous, it's true xD
Like I said in shiNIN response. It was just an experiment. I find applying colors is difficult to me, but I didn't study them yet. So your hints and crits are even more welcomed. Thanks
Can't find myself using this layer opacity trick. I heard many artists like to work that way, but it doesn't work for me. I like to start with low opacity brush, and then when I have whole value set, tweak the opacity up. Actually I'm finishing my pieces with opacity turned on 70-80%.
Yeah, right. When I was writing that sentence I didn't thought about my exam session .I'll do more such stuff in the nearest future.
Anyway, I won't send you this comic. I don't have it anymore ;<. But I can make you a fan art instead, what would you say? ;>
*This part will have diary character so if you are not interested you can skip this part
For those who didn't know. This long break in my updates, and lack of comments in your sketchbooks was caused by the examination session in college. Due this last two months I had to shared time between work, and collage. There was very little time for studying art. Fortunately, I'm attempting art classes and life drawing once a week, so my hand confidence is still ok, or even better! Now when I lucky passed all exams, and I finally have my life back. I will try to catch up with figure studies, color theory, anatomy, construction, perspective and more . I have also an idea for a graphic novel about pirates, and it's very possible that I'll start my web comic if so, I'll let you know first. Your critics are always highly appreciated
Now for the fun part. I gathered all doodles I made. All of them are done from my imagination, I didn't have the time to do some studies . It's not much, I know. And there is a still life drawing I was doing on the big format that is missing. I need to transport it to my apartment. I'll post it as soon as I can.
Hey there my friend.
Making a fan art? That should do the exchange for not making me
a translation of that comic book.
Just joking, I do not want you to feel any obligation toward anyone here.
You are here to improve your art skills and that is the most important, and
I also understand your college obligations, so do what you got to do
first and then lay your art out on us afterwards.
Glad to see all these new studies.
I was saying all the time that you are a secret shadow dragon,
even my grandmother said the same, seeing your work.
You are a misty shadow dragon coming from above to kill
You are mysterious and deadly,
you are unpredictable,
you are a beast,
you are more than Bruce Lee,
you are a shiny Rose in a winter,
you are a destructible desire for exile.
I trust in you my friend,
you are the greatest.
Great stuff from your imagination mate.good job here.
i like the 1st piece a lot but not really happy with his pose as well as his legs. he should look more proud and arrogant and his pose should reflect that. you can think of it in your next painting.
those doodles look cool but i have nothing to add here im afraid. keep doing more of these anyway since its a good practice.
well ill see ya around whenever i get some free time. good luck and have fun!
That was epic, thanks my friend xD
Thank you for your comment, looking forward to see you here more often
Hah I knew that you won't like the pose. My intention was to make him rather bored and lazy than arrogant. And yeah I'm also not happy how the legs came out. Need to do some studies, I guess. I'm glad you found the time to see my sb. I appreciate it
Ok today some random thumbs, and a fast lady sketch. Maybe I will render her a little more and come up with a finished piece. No references were used.
Hey, nice sketches, i would definitely would like to see those characters each week.
I would suggest you to make some more hand/feet studies.
Try to make your pencil lines more fluid and clean, it would definitely would make your sketches more realistic and would help you to make your hand more steady when drawing and painting.
