Hello everyone! I'm Matthew (Mateusz to be exact) Delikat. I've been here for such a long time, and now I decided to post my sketchbook. I'll try to make it daily-one. It's not great, but will be... .

Cool Idea's Im no great artist myself But i think you need to work on the proportions of the body!
But cool stuff though Keep it up!!
Ive got a thread of my sketchbook up aswell maybe you can check it out! Need your feedback and critique!!!
<After some time...> I'm really ashamed of my own laziness. Sorry .
It's been a while... I need to draw more hands...
some good work man, but i think you should take some time to work on the figure. try to do some anatomy studies to help out with proportions, but keep drawing man!
There's an response! Thank you so much!
These two are inspired by The Great and Awesome and great and awesome mcbess.
Thank you once again. It really means much to me.
Some sketches from imagination done a sec ago.
I'll do some anatomy studies (like hands, figures and sth like that) when I'll get some time to.
good to see you're drawing, but you're leaping ahead way too much i think
at this point you should be focusing on anatomy studies and construction, not shading and creative illustration. gotta learn to walk before you can run.
i'd recommend having a look at Loomis books about perspective and assembling your shapes from basic primitives, that'll really help you improve fast
It's really hard for me to assemble shapes from basic primitives - I've already tried that (that not mean I'm done) from Loomis book like you've just said. I just can't get off that building everything with shades and complex shapes.
Thank you for your comment, because it made me somewhat in the mood of trying harder with those shapes. And if it's about perspective - I suck at it when it comes to living creatures - need to be improved.
EDIT: Added some sketches

Forgot to post this one. It's from Loomis book.
hi man! thanks for the nice comment in my sketchbook! great job on the studies!! studies will definately help you to improve your work from imagination, but dont feel like you have to only do studies. keep mixing it up! but Neonduck makes a good point, studies are very important, and should be your priority. but there useless, unless you keep pushing your imagination. so my advice is to just keep drawing! but have fun!
Thank you SOOOOOOOO MUCH NickyBeats and Catukas! I have fun drawing and I want to become better, so studies will be my priority from now on, but as you've said I'll some wicked illustrations too (as I could lol) .

Your studies are coming along pretty good. Keep it up and keep practicing, you'll be there in no time! I suggest you look into websites like posemaniacs, just in case if you're running out of sources. Also it would also be good if you also conduct observational tonal studies and it will help you more in understanding form, regardless of what form it is. (:
Thank you Bleo for your comment. Thanks for the suggestion (I knew bout posemaniacs), but I've just bought a book for human anatomy and parts of body so for now I'll stick to that, Loomis and Bridgman.
Btw. What are tonal studies? Is it shading objects?
Update! Aaand... NSFW post
Quick and small update. Project that took my time over this Christmas . Photo study in like 2 hours 30 minutes.
Quick and small update#2.
My hair-drawing skills sucks. Need to work on that too.
This one is drawed from photo (so you could call it photostudy) with quite different technique than used in last post.
Happy new year to everybody!
Thank you very much NickyBeats. I'll do more of these since I made myself a deadline for nine more before certain day . I hope those will be better
Great anatomy studies!
catukas: Thank you very much . I like this one too
Urötskidoji: I'm kinda still having problems with proportions and maintaining these, but I'm gonna work on it ^^! Thank you!
And here's something that I painted yesterday evening in like 2 hours. I didn't use watercolors since primary school ^^. (Gotta do something about the nose)
daflom: Thank you very much!
This is the second try for the portrait. Acrylics on wooden board (didn't measure it yet :<)
I hope it's better than the previous one, but can't really show you my reference yet ^^. And I've fixed some things, but it's still wip. Gotta finish it today.
