love the last post a lot man!
oh, I like your digital figure studies, thumbs up !!
Critiques on my work always welcome!!
Man your stuff is out of my understanding I might use some of your pieces to study, do you do live streams? or have made any videos of your workflow I'd love to see one if you've uploaded any. Thanks for sharing!
Went through and saved a bunch of these to my inspiration folder. You're a badass, dude. I love the subtle color and reflected light in the figures, the sense of life and realism in everything is amazing.
How long have you been painting seriously? I noticed you're hardly older than me, and i'm really damn impressed you got so good so young.
the blurred figure drawing in your most recent update. really, really, reallyy like.

Love those flesh tones!
alright, i know you mentioned a few pages back how you dont really like when people post stuff like "huge improvement" and all that jazz. but... huge improvement dude. seriously, and i only mention it because i saw your post on the thread 'post your before and after CA work' thread in the lounge, and yea. i was befuddled. and i dont even know what that word means. but seriously, very nice work dude.
Edit: Forgot to include, a quick paintover for a friend

happy international self portrait day!
Splode: Thank you, just silly effects really.
Sporus: it's a palette knife style smudging brush from here. just something fun to mess about with when you feel the limitations of regular PS brushes
Fernteixeira: Thanks mate
Reedux: Cheers! Not as of right now, maybe in the future.
hunchback: Thanks dude!
vayne108: Thank you
andres333: I don't really do livestreams, my workflow is pretty bog standard but I may do a video eventually. I'm saving wips of my portfolio stuff so I'll post processes for those when I get them finished!
Suprore: Thanks man, I'm honoured I started studying properly 2 years ago, Sept 2009.
Feil Magnus: Thanks :3
neonndreams: Glad you like it, thanks!
GEB: Thanks man, you rock!
NickyBeats: Thank you, hopefully the improvement doesn't fizzle out anytime soon and I can keep getting better!
Giorge: Thanks man, the one critique in a flood of asspats Very good point, I'll make sure to work on that - tired myself of the same expression.

Hey man, thanks for peepin in the sketchbook again. I don't have much to say, you're producing some very cool, solid, varied, colorful, and energetic work. My friend and I keep stopping by every once in a while and we just throw our fists in the air and run around yelling "THAT DAMN TEHMEH FUUUU".
great work man \o/

Wow, i love your work.
Can you elaborate on the sphere and block lighting study? Were you trying to study different lighting effects? With multiple lights and diffused lights.. etc?
I can see your ep121 in your self portrait. lol

I cant say any compliments that havnt already been said.
My only suggestion is to start exploring illustration and try to capture themes, motifs, and subject matter. Seems like alot of your finished work is studies or closely derived from studies. Id like to see you push yourself to produce full scale imaginary work.
You are amazing.
my day is full with drawing in my sketchbook from loomis and vilppu, and i'm keeping it loose and not bothering to render anything so there isn't much to update with at the moment.
Dude the resent work is incredible! The sense of depth your achieving in your digis now, especially the environments and landscapes, is awesome, you just want to step out into them!
Your lighting's getting better too (And I didn't even think that was possible!), that self portrait man, so cool! But what do you be drawing on in the sp?
Cheers for stopping by my thread again as well mate, much appreciated!
Your sp is frikkin awesome!!
Great flesh tones, nice SP.
love the self portrait with the tablet. altough i'd expect some light from the tablet hitting your chin and neck.
That is one awesome self portrait! Haven't seen the ref, but still everything just feels right!
woww, amazing studies, quite motivating, thanks for sharing your art
No you rock! That self portrait is sweet!
Hey Olly I really like this years self portrait. Very different from last years traditional one which lead me to your sketchbook. Love the way you are intently staring out at us with your all seeing artists eye. As always you've used light beautifully to show form and lead our eye down to the artist's hand. Just really great to look at.
I also really like the lighting studies of the geo solids, and the painting of the cast room is cool. Would you accept a request to paint it again to show the workstations from where the artist stands. I've always wondered how they set it up with lights and all.
