For those who wanted a teaser, there is a little bit to at least give you an idea. The video is full of info and the comments in the preview just give a picture of the kind of in depth topics are covered.


In this first in a series of portrait downloads for ConceptArt.Org, the artist ZhangLu paints a stellar series of portraits as Jason Manley provides insights into painting Caucasian females, portraiture from imagination, providing art history commentary, and basic theory regarding creating female heads from imagination. Topics highlighted include mood, expression and soul as well as technical matters.

About the Artist:

ZhangLu is one of China's top character artists and digital portrait painters. He currently works at Massive Black Shanghai as a concept artist and digital painter. ZhangLu is currently working on a multi-video series which supports the community and will help artists around the world.

Wow. I just previewed this vid. Zhang Lu is a beast!
Well worth the $20 in my opinion, and I'm a harsh critic given that I do this for a living.
And to put things in perspective for you, I payed $125 per day at my art school and only got a small fraction of the information offered here in this vid.

And yes folks, please support the community by not uploading this tutorial.
