as soon as i saw the Iron Man film i went home and started doing iron man sketches, I was totally inspired by it, which in my eyes is the sign of a damn good film. I think i also saw a photo of you at some Con with Jon favreau, robert downey jr and the rest of the cast? Now im just jealous.

Also the lastest issue of Imagine FX which has your work on the cover, now to see you posting on these boards is awesome, hope you stick around and continue to show us hows it done

Well, that´s it, I think I have to see this on the big screen instead of waiting for the DVD... Amazingly cool designs, it has to take alot of work translating the concept of these suits from comics to the screen, where they have to function in real-time... =)

Will this version of Ironman be another evolution of design for the 616 universe comics? It would be cool if the comics adopt the recent design as well.
Or the story you did with Jon Favreau a continuity for the movie storyline?

I love the collaboration with the other designers and made the character more spunkier. His boots are like those of a jet. plus add-ons like flaps? are a nice touch.

I hope you're in the development team for IM2, and hope the villain is Mandarin and FinFang Foom!!

BTW-is that dragon in the cover a redesign of FinFangFoom?

Koro, it's so weird to me that Japan is so far behind in movie releases, I noticed some are over 6 months late. It used to be the case here in the UK but in the last couple of years most bigger movies open at the same time as in the US.

N8 Van Dyke, I haven't played the game, but I've seen others playing it and it looks amazing.

hawkprey, man your work is amazing. I've been trying to follow as much of your stuff as I can find. I love both your designs and your style. One of the few people whose work i find flawless on both counts.

Bard, I don't think this design will become a part of the 616 universe, at least not in this exact form. The story Favreau and I are doing isn't in continuity with anything really, it's just a fun stand-alone miniseries using the movie armor. The dragon is Fin Fang Foom, a redesign by me for this story.
