dig that last portrait sketch the eyes are mesmerizing!
Ow, I really like your drawings ; really really. Especially the ink figures, page 21. And I like the alien ostriches in page 25 ; and the tent with cactuses inside too (or is it some giant weed specie ?). And the portrait on orange background on this very page, which is, mmmh... nice myology studies, too. You study in California ?
Aaaaaaaaand I subscribed.
I've heard alot about moleskines but whats the selling point? Saw some the other day but I couldn't figure it out because they'd plastic'd them shut :<
I LOVE your drawings! more more more!
From seeing your work, it's cool how your style has developed within two years. I don't have any crits for you. You seem to have a steady pace of improvement going on. Keep up the hard work.
moleskines have nice yellow paper. other than that i think it's bought for the hipster cred.
This one I use is an a5 size. personally, a6 is too small for concepts i'll want to scan and paint, and a4 is way too clumsy for life drawing. x_x
some crap brushpen practice.
i've been trying to hang around in my backyard for fresh air. There's bird poop everywhere and my dog won't stop knocking my sketchbook out of my hands to play. ;_;
Thank you! Yeah looks great this kind of... yellow paper!
Planning to buy it for doing drawings in school, bus and so on. There could be a lot o time to use it ;D
But hey.. what am i talking in uuur skechbook...
Love the zombies next to the trees!
Those brushpen studies look sweet, really good control and got some nice shapes going on, too.
And moleskines have a lot more to offer than yellow paper and some hipster cred. The paper is the closest thing to having an entire book made of strathmore bristol, takes pencil like butter!
I learned from these to be faster with my painting. The sun moves quickly.
Ethan Karnopp gave me the simple but for me, mindblowing suggestion to work background to foreground. I plan to try that method instead in my next couple of studies.
bapsi have i ever told you how good you are at drawing TITS!!!!!!
seriously, im impressed
I love the study with the patio stairs and the one with the metal column. Those are great molekine sketches to. Does ink work well on the pages, because I bought mine specifically because to use watercolor on the thick pages, but it would bead up on the surface and if I touched the page and then painted on it I could see my fingerprints and I was kinda disappointed. Does that happen with diluted ink too?
Great sketchbook, really nice work!
