For my year twelve art body of work, I've decided to focus on drawing as my medium. So far it consists of only a triptic drawn on the back of several a3 sheets of carboard. I'm going on a sort of nature spirit theme with american indian infulences. Remember that these are just the preliminary sketches; they're no where near completed.
Sorry about the blurry photographs, but they're too large to scan. I was hoping I could get some constructive criticism on how I could improve, or perhaps some hints for what I should be doing in the future.
Larger eyes on the central image I think, and perhaps narrower ears, it would make it look a bit more majestic and less brutal. Try not to let branches get thicker as they move away from the 'root'. I always do it, then realise my mistakes later on! It never helps
I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
Right now the features of the central deer head are kind of placeholders, I'll do them in more detail a bit later.
