Peetaer Thanks dude!
Ok here is a full body, life sized self portrait done with colored pencils and pastels for my drawing class. Half was supposed to be anatomy and half skin tone. This was such a bitch to do, but I think it turned out ok, for my limited experience with traditional media.
I also have an illustration I did for my 2d design class, with the thumbnail sketches and final sketch included. No ref. I'm really pleased with the way this one turned out, and really enjoyed drawing on a tablet. But feel free to tear it apart.
hey u have too good jobss i follow u
wowa, cool stuff dude.
The life sized anatomy self ref is awesome. I don't think I've seen that done before.

Wow. Just wow. Your work is incredible, and it is so nice to see your improvement. I am in love. You anatomy is really great. My favorite pieces are the one in your last digi, and the "sketch" that is currently your display picture. Very nice.
Hey, this might be asking way too much, but any chance you can stop by my sketchbook and give a word on how you approached learning your anatomy? And any other comments you might have.. I am 17 and I really want to get better and your work really inspired me.
Please stop by my sketchbook!
Thanks for sharing!
Nice stuff man. I'm not particularly fond of the width of the hips in your anotomy drawing and i would re work the left hand to give it more of a natural curvature (allow the pinky to recede behind the ring finger) but good use of color and all the anotomy seems to be in the right place and doing the right thing.(ie. no oddly flexed muscles) good work keep it up and always feel free to comment on my stuff.
I need all the help i can get
It's a funny coincidence - I was browsing through your sketchbook yesterday around the time you posted in mine Anyway - great stuff here too, love your anatomy studies, and your imaginative stuff is very interesting too, I really like your blending style on some of the greyscale pieces you've posted before...keep em coming
Shit yes, awesome work bro!
Thanks for commenting my book too.
Thank you for the comments everyone, appreciate it!!
DazDaryl: That mahcine is called a pencil!!
Okay here's some old stuff and new stuff, both finished and sketchy. Idk, I like some of it. Lot of it is poop now though. The last one is pretty recent, for my 2d design class, kudos if you can figure out the message.
Really great studies and some very strong work here - Keep em coming!!
Daryl Zero: "A few words here about following people. People know they're being followed when they turn around and see someone following them. They can't tell they're being followed if you get there first."

lolbbq Thanks dude I've been trying to push my colors a lot lately!
MattGamer Thanks man I've been getting some great feedback on that one!
Ok here's another self portrait, playing with some textures and colors and whatnot.
Also jumped headfirst into an enviro painting, don't usually do these. Over spring break I took my dog for a walk to brought my camera, which I really want to do more often. Took a few cool pictures before my dog hurt her leg and I had to help her back home. I used textures and samples from those photos to help make this, as well as some crazy brushes.
There are also a few of the pictures that I took and grabbed the textures from. Mind you, I'm not a photographer nor really into photography, just shooting pics for reference and such. Definately crits are appreciated on the enviro, I really want to get good at them!!
i like the sp and how you popped the nose out there with warm colors. ;] as for the enviro, since the background is pretty warm, you're going to have to cool it down to give the picture some depth. as we all know, the farther things are away, the cooler they are. it's doable just play with it and see what you can do just playing with the warms in the background. see if you can push it further back and give us a sense of thick environment. ;]
Very nice SB. Loads of different mediums and ideas. Good stuff keep them coming.
