I HATE INTERIORS.
So I decided to throw together some comps for the Oasis, instead of figuring out what the inside of El P's mansion looks like. Instead of painting everything by hand I used a combination of collage and rendering to give the "gist" of it. Each of these is 8.5" wide WHYYYY did I make them so big? Shit.

NINE DAYS. 13+ PAGES. Still need to contact someone to find out if I have more time than I've given myself.

I like that gun page. Very nice variety of shapes. I think many of them could use more interior details, though.

WHOA! You have many ideas, but it seems like you have no time to realize a big one! MASSIVE ILLUSTRATION with battle between space ships... anyway enough with the wishes... the guns are cool on a first glimpse but they look to me not very comfortable.. however i am not a particular person so to me they look cool... and man ya ireally want to help with your progress not just to crit you... try to forget for a while the hard lines, try to deal with your imagination on the moment you are doing the sketch... set some light lines then render the shapes... but everyone has his style right? Really want to see some costume deigns... all the best!

Taking a break from ripping my hair out this morning to draw the characters I saw in a dream last night. It was a "Final Fantasy" setting in my game so I just went with that style. It's not much but ursadlfjfa;sldfj tired of drawing inorganic crap.

Uh, here are some single-passenger hovercrafts. I liked the third one the best but now I realize that the poor driver wouldn't be able to see in front of him. SO. Time to put a drop down screen or something, I dunno. Forget eyes, in the future, they use cameras for everything!

I don't think i've posted here more than one and to shame! You did a fantastic job exploring some of your options with your horses...i had to scroll back up to look once again, they are great!

Have you ever used a 3D base to paint on and figure out the perspective? I haven't yet but I certainly think I might once I get down to more perspective works again. You can also find images of perspective lines that you can drop into your PSD and arrange so you dont draw the lines manually. Not that your building looks wrong...solid! just not colorful - though that could be to design.

are the little thumbs (vehicles/chairs) on paper or digital?

Jakers: No 3D base, my computer would explode if I tried. I'm going to do that someday. I did start, though, with a pencil drawing on massive paper so I could get it right. 99.9% of the thumbnails are traditional medium. Thank you

sweet looking portfolio, it's got some truly great pieces of design, your characters as usual are very strong, the only slight shortcoming I can is in the oasis enviros posted toward the top of the page, they seem forced somehow, kind of like a garden rather than somewhere wild. (sorry don't know how better to explain)

That site would have been helpful when I started, she lists a lot of places she used as inspiration... though I think she just set it up D: haha. Oh well.
