hey all, i just got my act together to post. been a long time viewer of everyone's work and am dumbfounded most of the time. this stuff is all from my sketchbook i just started since the summer. hope you all enjoy and feel free to crit harshly.
i am only a few pages into the pad but ill update when i get the time. as you can see i rarely do single page sketches since most of my work is really free form association. so, it's all collages together while im working. tried adding color but with limited success. ill give it a try and post them later.
nice style here!
i love this kind of curves and art nouveau style!
inspirating, keep it up
had some more time to post a few more. this was heavily influenced by chromosome, i came across his sketch pad and thought i would try it out again. also the mr. big sky guy is influenced by mrgrumbles, mainly the mustache and eyes. both of their threads are awesome and i really have to get some colored paper to get the value range these guys have.
more of chromosome's influence.
i am okay at ps painting but i went back to basics after looking at bumskee and teigrob's thread about digital paintinghttp://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...ablet+problems so here is my first apple attempt. and the ref is below, ill try the orange later.
trying to answer what would happen if one of the great beasts of the sea, the squid, and a great beast of the land, the car, met.
more of the same. i want to develop the hawk when i have time
another collage of collective consciousness and a little flourish based off a NY city building facade courtesy of eldo kawa http://www.edlokawa.com/
very cool collage feel you have up so far... but are those doodles?

AIM/AOL SCREENAME: ACRO IS ILL
ACRO: thanks for stopping by. yeah these are really just sketches, figure that's the point of the sb section. i am really not sure where to go with most of these, i am still experimenting with the style, tips are welcome or refs of other people doing similar stuff.
here is a bit more development on a collage, blocking some shades.
trying some color on a collage i did while watching tv. so basically what ever was on got incorporated, got a little kungfu, nature show, monty python and the such. suggestions? comments? concerns? ill post more when i can.
black has always been a hard thing for me to embrace, since I started out as a pencil artist, so im giving it a try to see if it looks good on this collages.
Love the loosness of your style really nice gestures, any final pieces?
