INTRODUCTION
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
100 rounds of COW! Time to honour this old Lady with an event which is doing justice to all the work, effort, creativity and fun hundreds of artists had so far with this activity.

Thousands of new species were created. Enough to build up a complete new world with an unique fauna. Enough to show how much you can reach when you just keep drawing. The key for new worlds is in your mind and in your hands. Never forget this!

Doing 1 creature would hardly do justice to an activity which started 2 years and 8 months ago with 99 rounds of pure creativity and passion to creatures.

So the solution was as simple as perfect:
100 creatures!

MAIN FACTS

Task:
Draw 100 creature thumbnails. 10 topics. 10 creatures for each topic = 100 creatures in total.

Contest period: 30 days
Starting: Sunday, 30th of September
Ending: Tuesday, 30th of October

Prizes:
A Workshop ticket for two special individuals
judged by Jason Manley(if you cannot afford the plane ticket, you can opt for a later workshop ticket).

DETAILED INFOS, RULES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR COW #100

1. FORMAT

- canvas:
width: max 2000 px
height: max 2000 px

- thumbnails:
50px - 150 px in height and/or width, not bigger or smaller! See Samples below for more information!

- color:
no b/w or line art. Colors are required. See Samples below for more information!

2. PRESENTATION

- layout:
Layout is in your hand, but creature design and diversity is the main focus. See Samples below for more information!

- numbering:
Add numbers to every thumbnail from 001-100. See Samples below for more information!

- text:
Add the topics you chose for the 10 creatures next to each creature block.
No naming or texting for each creature. See Samples below for more information!

3. CONTENT

- amount:
100 creature thumbnails

- focus:
FOCUS is on diversity and design!!!

- creature themes
Choose from a pool of different themes (like underwater, herbivore, insects, predator etc) and draw 10 creatures for each theme = total of 100 creatures. The themes will be posted when the kick-off date has come, so no one can cheat in starting before

- design:
Make designs which are obviously creatures, stay away from mechanical, industrial and human-like stuff!!!
No interacting creatures! If so make sure, that the creatures are seen fully, not mixing up the shapes
We need to see the whole body...no heads only, no cropping to half bodies etc See Samples below for more information!

4. TIME

- 30 days:
You will have (officially) 30 days to post your final images.
Starting 30th of September, Ending 30th of October.

5. PROCEDURE

- Posting:
No WIPs in the posting thread, only discussion and questions allowed
Send me the final images before the deadline via pm or email when you are done

- Poll:
I will set up the poll as always and post the final images there.
Voting will work as usual. 1 vote per member. Names of Voters will be visible. No self-voting.

- Judge:
2 judges:
There will be the official poll as usual in COW, where winners will be determined.
Additionally for the 100th round there will be an official judge, who also is judging and deciding about some prizes, eg the workshop tickets.

If you have a question, just reread the rules and guidelines a bit more carefully. Pretty much every question has already been answered several times, in this thread and in several others.
