Haha, incet incet locul se umple.
Congrats for a good start.
Number one is nice and clean with a touch of depression photography. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that I would have enjoyed a higher contrast / exposure, but thats a prob that i have with all BW photos . Good job!
Second one... what can i say, it's not that i dont like it, it's just the fact that it doesent say much to me. Sure, it crisp and pink but definitelly not at the same level with the first one. Dont get me wrong, tho, it's a lovely phot. Just not much feeling to it. Feels very commercial.
Bottom line: Great start. Si cu atat mai bine ca locul se umple cu romani.
supeeeer... one of the best romanian photographer arownd these part's imo. i like the first photo but the second one Le Gab is right. post more so we can drool more . la revedere.
My guarding angel is a double agent !!
1&2 are great! don't like the next two very much
edit: 4's growing on me...
i don't know about that pink... imo lose the pink man. other than that nice shot's. cheers
My guarding angel is a double agent !!
i think if the pink was more defined, better quality it would look very nice
I love the second photo, very cool and different
I'm liking your style, but i think i need some more photos to look at to make up my mind.
yeah more, more, more
cause I've seen em all on your deviantart page
friends Sketchbooks:Dile_, Stine
my flickr go there if you want to see my photography stuff
<mildly sarcastic remark that seems a little cutting at first read, but contains wisdom and is really rather funny>
Ilaekae: "I'm sick and tired of "purists" who dictate their own anal preoccupations to everybody else as the word of gods."
I spent most of my time staring at your pictures trying to recall where I've seen that font before. It's really bugging me. Red, Orange, glowing and horror film/game. But I can't f-----g recognise it.
In terms of pictures I quite like 2nd, 3rd and 5th. The others aren't bad, just not to my liking. I'm not sure what's going on with the noise/grain in silence, but it's not really to my liking (the noise that is).
I like 4 because it's an arrow pointing up, that's pretty much it. I just like that.

the writting font is oglivie, i got it from the net...dunno in what film/game it was, i gave up thinking about that
silence had a huuuge ammount of noise in it and this was the only way of setting things straight...i'll try to make it better
Okay, now it's really beggining to wind me up, and with all this abient noise about I can barely remember my own name, let alone that of something I've probably never seen/played/whatever.
Goddamit, someone help me here!
Not bad, not bad at all.
What sort of a contest did you win in? Was it specified at any sort of theme, etc?
it was a monthly contest on a forum...no specific topic just posting and then people voted
and anywho, silence for instance got in the top 30 photos from a magazine...a pretty popular one, the topic was portraits of course
I can see why silence got there. It's not that bad a picture.
Do you often enter your photographs to magazines, public displays, all that jazz?
I love the one with the pink... the way the shoes are are a main focal point and the person is sort of hiding, looks cool.
Good to see some new stuff from you. Took you some time to post something that i had not already seen on DeviantArt. Anyways, the first overexposed BW set looks fine and dandy. I like the overall burning-white-noir (er, couldnt find my words) look. Also, that touch of depression in your portraits does the trick.
The color half face portrait doesn't seem too do it for me. For some reason I dont like the mood. Or actually the lack of mood which is almost contrasting with your previous works. I do like the angle and the cropping, tho.
What I would definitelly like to see from you is more experimenting. Take that BW feet photo. Thats an example of a good experiment. I really like the look of it. I'm starting to wonder how would you do if you had a buch of models on your hands,
My only complaint so far is the cold that seems to attack me each time i look at your stuff. The have a very calculated, analithic feel to them, Very crisp, contrasted and clean. Bun then again this is not something bad.
its a well known fact in my case that contests make me push my limits
and i always produce something above my usual standards
born_stubborn: actually its the june issue
the color face portrait...people either liked it or not...probably because its that weird
i'll post some more feet photos, i've done looooads of them only i wasnt truly satisfied with the result
and about models...if u have any dont keep them for yourself godddamit!
and yes, coldness...thats a bal;ancing thing because in real life the only cold thing i like is the weather...the rest, i prefere comfy warm living areas etc, warm colours....so i guess its to keep me balanced
quality could be better in this one, again i'm the guineea pig
These pictures are a bit heavy on, well, what does 'emo' mean to you?
They're not all too badly done however the 3rd one is a bit blurry/fuzzy. I'm not really sure which one of the three I prefer really. I really like the way the lipstick reflects the light in the first; I quite like just generally the second, as the position of your head seems more natural. The third I'd probably like much more if the quality weren't so sacrificed. I'm destracted by the blurry Knight's Cross for a start.
Overall, as with all of this thread, it's not bad, but in this case it doesn't really take my fancy. It also looks like the middle picture could do with a bit of cropping at the top. It wouldn't make it even with the other pictures, but the hair/parting there just seems out of place.

sorry to say it...but i'm comp[letely against emo stuff, i consider it a piece of shit
i'm not making anyone like my style and i'm more with my feet on the ground compared to "emo's"
it just takes more to know the person
as for the comments...i respect them
Nono, I wasn't saying you were. I was just saying that they're a bit too close to 'emo' for my liking; sort of jokingly also. The reason it doesn't take my liking is just because I'm not a fan of those poses. I wasn't attempting to look down on you or anything, quite the opposite.
Please, don't be offended, but it appears we got a couple of wires crossed. Yes, I agree with you on the emo thing.
What is it about your style that you're not all too happy with? In my opinion your dissatisfaction is completely unfounded. What you do is what you do, and it seems to have gone down well with everyone so far. There's no need to think the way you do about your photographs, but at least it means you'll constantly be trying to improve on what you can.

i find it useless to get this topic further...at my age its normal to find my style, one that isnt emo related....and if i was to be satisfied with my style i'd probably stagnate, not progress
