@k2mountain: she's actually on a ship in a different system, yes. Thank you!
Here are some useless sketches, oldest to newest. The heat killed my mojo in advance (yes, weeks before it broke out)
Any tipps/tutorials to draw wet hair?
these last ones in Open Canvas 1

Cyprinus thanks! I'm glad you like it ^^
Devin thank you! if you like to see more of my autobio-comics you can go over to http://enjikan.blogspot.com/
A from-mind enviro. I SUCK at choosing colours T_T tomorrow I'll try something different... I have an idea.... but maybe I'm just incapable of choosing colours
AND here! The first time I drew myself from my reflection in the mirror. I got that mirror months ago, since forgotten it stood turned around behind my monitor screen. But this time I dared to try and draw my reflection. I did half-assed tries in the past... but this time I started without thinking in advance: this is not gonna work
And I was fucking surprised how quick it resembled me. Gonna try that again!
This thing is for this weeks chow, due tomorrow... trying to do the values first...
Uhm, btw. This thread is almost 5 years old, now. What do you think, should I start a new thread?
finished Father Time (Chow) and Detail
some old watercolour test sketches, I'm so bad with colour of any kind
Memory of a recent trip... the colours at sunset were surreal
Three new self portraits from my reflection in the mirror
last one from today
two value sketches
sketches as of late
and my mother two new pets Wolke the cat and Purzel the labrador, his real name is Arco, but I like Purzel more...

wow, you are very good with color and value! i am really enjoying the illustrations on this last page. the chow post up there could really have used a stronger pose/lighting, but otherwise your rendering is looking great. keep up the good work
oh but heyyyy i see you skimping on those feet. study study study.
thanks! yeah, I love feet I just have too much respect to try and learn how they work properly, you're right ^^;
nothing new but this little sketch of my new cat Yellow sleeping on my desk
I'm a little depressed at the moment. Can't quite find the mojo to draw, daydreams of space fairy tales instead... and browsing these super awesome sketchbooks over and over again...
Loathsome: but it's so cuddly and comfy in my comfort zones *draws a hundred eyes for every toe*
Here's what I have done these days... not much, nothing great... :/
A watercolour sketch to test some different techniques... have to try more with these, because real paint is awesome!
These mountains (reffed from photo) look cool as a thumbnail!
bah, rendering faces... bah... how is body anatomy working? I don't know... so I stick with faces for now... noooo
And my entry to this week's ChoW: Yuki Onna, the snow woman
I really love the more cartoony style drawings the most. And I agree, rendering digitally is a pain in the butt ;-) That is why I personally chose the clean comic style for my stuff. :-)
My Lovercraft is full of eels.
queenmob, unfortunatly I can't decide what I want ... cartoony or realistic? fantasy or reality? illustration or concept art?
my kitteh blasts you with her extremomatic beauty
to shock you in the other extreme - a self portrait from mirror
and from-life sketches of a half-sphere and of my friend Caro in Volkspark Friedrichshain in Berlin, and sphere studies... seems I can't even draw spheres...
Wow, I see a lot of different styles fly by here browsing through your SB haha, it's amazing really. However, the topics you've chosen for yourself are pretty hard to paint, all of them, because they share no similarities with real world situations making it hard to paint them correctly. Usually when trying to paint really heavy fantasy or personal stuff it's good to have a solid foundation - only when we know all the basics is it when we can create worlds of our own (that look really proper) so starting out with animal drawings (like you are doing your self portraits) might be helpful. I do see some observational drawings going on in your sb which is good, quite like those.
