Hello guys. This is a study for a chips limited edition package contest promoted by Saiwa (chips producer) and MTV Italy.
I'm quite happy, except for some details, but I started this work a little too late and the deadline was coming.
I'm still working on a design of the character: Knut is an hybrid child, half Ogre half Frost Giant, tall like an adult Ogre (but still growing :-) ) His huge strenght cause some troubles on his ogre's tribe.
I do also a little restyling to the Fonzie's logotype, whit a wooden texture and a horizontal tileable background
Some quick sketches:
C&C are welcome.
Technical note: Done in Photoshop CS2 whit Wacom Graphire Bluetooth (like Graphire II, I think)
I dig it, other than the giant outie belly button being a little creepy. Maybe you can shrink that by half, because it looks more like an abscess than a belly button. IMHO

"Work is more fun than fun."
"Art is supposed to punch you in the brain, and it's supposed to stay punched."
proj235, Fireflights, Elwell: LOL! Once finished the piece I just look at his bellybottom and say "oh God, I draw a Tortellino!"
Anyway, I think that's fun ;-] but I hope that my tortellino is not the only interesting thing on my work.
proj235: Sorry mate, what's mean "I dig it"? On wordreference I just find something about excavation or elbow, but I feel it's wrong...
Thanks for your post men!
Hey Kat, thanks for the help and the comment (and thanks to proj235: now I know that was a compliment ;-])
I'm sorry to say that I never shrunk the Knut's tortellino... it's just an optical effect by the packaging distortion ;-]
Anyway, finally, after many request...tadaaaa...the Tiny Tortellino version!
