ekler: hahah! aw. someday i will have a contest of some sort where people can win a free monster! maybe then you could get one.
Coinpurse: hahah awww thanks! no I never thought of making any sort of fuzzy hat, hahah. i thought those were only for pimp halloween costumes.
GusTheRobot: thank you!! thats what im trying to do. I have big plans to make huuge things, if my orders ever slow up.
aedman: ! thanks a ton! trying to be more practical with my monster making.
Sketch: Thanks so much! Writing a mini story for them is one of my favorite parts of monster making. Maybe I should make a cute monster field guide someday.
A custom requested Monstropus for someone. His name is Mrink.
Mrink is just under 7 inches tall
13 inch antlerspan
12 inch long tentacles
Since I had so much fun making these guys before... 90S RAPPER BEARS. Except, this time, ones not. The name was too perfect not to use it.
Gold vinyl for the teeth!
Both just over 12 in tall.
ohohoh, Chelsea Chelsea, these are too great. I wish I stopped in here sooner, missed alot of cool monsters, Math monster is sweet, and so are both the octopus monsters, Oh but thats not fair, theyre all so great. Man, I just wanted to say, keep rockin the world Chelsea. Hahah.
By the way, I'd like my golden breasts as I was promised. I wont feel complete without them... FINE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO JERK!
oh man i laughed my ass of when i saw the monstrupus xD it's really great i loved it
Im so glad you are still creating these fantastic stuffed..creations! There is no other thread around with this kind of medium and style. Do you go through a sketching process before each monster and do a lot of planning, or are you able to just run while you work and execute a lot from your head?
wow this thread is just so enthusiastic and creative! It is hard to give constructive feedback when there is so much fun and random here. stuffed things are lovely. Love the zipper on the last one. They have pose with attitood and grill!
These are too cool...

Bojee's Monkey Brain
Hey it's incredible how many different ideads you put into those little critters!
I like them very much.
Sketchbook (daily Oils):
Sew you Chelsea. Gimme one of those Rappah Bears.
Oh noes, your bandwidth is exceeded! I checked out this sb last night, intending to come back today and squee some more... but alas, no pictures. Uploading to CA sidesteps that problem, btw, and keeps your pix in one place foreeeeverrrr
Anyway! I LOVE YOUR CRITTERS. They're so bold and full of personality. They radiate fun. I love how you mix fabrics, I remember yesterday seeing a plush made of orange fabric with sharks on it. That made my day. This sb is excrutiatingly distracting, dammit. Stop being awesome.
Pseudocognition: Ahhh, thanks for letting me know! I just fixed it now. Damn photobucket. &thanks! That sweet shark fabric was actually a present for me. People give me old fabric a lot, & it's hard to think of things to do with all of them sometimes!
Fshoo: hahah thanks! No way you gotsta buy one ;D
Peter Berkovski; hahah, thanks a ton!
Katzenminze: thanks so much! I try to keep doing new ideas as often as I can, but it's hard to keep them all in the same style so theyre recognizable as my own.
Danuh: Hey thanks! Yeah I know about the drawings, it's not really my thing. I have to really force myself to draw if it's not just doodling monster ideas. &thanks! That baby lamp was a super super old school project. I actually hated it, hahah.
kidult: aw thanks so much!
eparts: haha thanks! I try to stay excited about everything I do, or else it just doesnt come out as well.
Jakers: Thanks! I just can't seem to stop. It's like some horrible, fuzzy, cuteness addiction. I usually draw what's in my head first, so I remember exactly what I wanted. Sometimes I just start cutting and making it up as I go. Depends how I'm feeling that day, hah
lefran: Just go to a thrift store & buy a crap pillow & use the filling. It's what I used to do when I was at college & couldnt get a ride to the craft store & I needed to finish something.
Clochette: hahah, thanks so much!
pen-paper-renegade: ! thanks a ton!
agelaos: Hahaha, awww thanks Dennis! You will get your golden breast... someday. I just keep forgetting, hahah. It will be a ... christmas present? yes.
Sketch: thanks! I actually dont like him all that much, but maybe thats because it was a custom order so I couldnt choose any of the colors.
Sorry nothing to update RIGHT now. Maybe I'll be updating in a couple hours. Just wanted to bump this back up because I fixed my bandwidth problem.
maybe i'm a perv, but i just cant stop staring at their butts....
Great stuff! Im gonna have to get me a plushie some day! You have a great sketching style too!
enjoying the scenery
le capitan: hahaha, it happens.
Baze: ! thanks so much!
Greif: hahaha, awww, wow thanks so much!
My pocket sized yetis did really well, so I decided to make something like that, but new!
The sasquatch in my pocket!
Just over 3 in tall
Got a commission to remake one of my older monsters. Since I love this monster so much, I made another to sell!
About 14 in tall with a 16 in antlerspan
My best friend came over last weekend & we carved pumpkins. Betcha can't guess which one mine was.
They already went rotten today. This is the only living memory of my pumpkin. I even carved all those little teeth with a peeler.
Those guys with sunglasses are the shit !
I also like the horns of the "old" monsters alot.
Best pumpkin evar. The pocket yetis are so cute, their flaming red nipples are positively lollerific. The one in the middle looks like a puppy drooling for a treat. My cats would tear them to shreeeeds unfortunatley.
Holy crap I just had a vision... a candy corn monster, for Halloween. *hint hint hint squared*
you seem obsessed with little monsters.
i love it!
Sketchbook (daily Oils):
Bought one of your creations from the store for my girlfriends upcoming birthday. I'm sure she'll love it. Pretty tempted to get one of these guys for myself:
BlightedArt: Aw thats great! Let me know how she likes it.
Katzenminze: I am definitely obsessed. There's just unlimited possibilities with monsters, and no restrictions! I love it!
Pseudocognition: hahah my cat tries to nab the little pocket sized monsters all the time. I have to put them up high or theyll go mysteriously missing, and I'll find them under the bed. Hahah I wish I had time to make halloween themed monsters! Im having a hard time keeping up with my commissions currently.
l0stinth0ughts: aw but theyre nice monsters.
algenpfleger: hahah thanks!!
FactorZero: ! thanks so much! I always wonder if people actually read them, or skip over them entirely. I put a good amount of thought into them.
blashyrk: Thanks! Theyre some of my favorite little guys to make.
William b. Hand:
Just one for now.
Made these two monstropi for the Doublepunch gallery in San Francisco. I forget when the show opens. November sometime.
Had a little photoshoot with them. Calimari!
Will upload a real, lighbox picture of them later. I'm real fond of that little white one.
