my sketchbook http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=128243
just a small update. some stuff i did this week freelancing with belief.... yes, freelancing with my old job... haha
anyway, did these boards for a pitch, hopefully they get the job. they said they'd hire me to help animate it if they land the gig.
soooo, fingers crossed:
Nice boards. Why the name change? Can't wait for more of an update...will be watching as usual.
my new website is finally done!
check it out!
let me know what you guys think!
its a long story.
my original name here was based upon my old website url: www.complete2.com
and that website died a long time ago... i couldn't afford to pay my bill, they killed it.
then i had an idea for a forum i wanted to start called "the dirt syndicate"
it was supposed to be geared towards designers who love grungy dirty stuff. dirt junkies like myself, a place to get textures, ps brushes, etc.
but my plans kinda fell through... eventually i'd like to do that, but for now im using www.thedirtsyndicate.org as my new home.

truely inspiring sketchbook! nice illustration style, very good line- and colorwork, perfect composing...the last portraits on page 6 are so damn good! nothing more to say...
amazing work! I want to see more!
sorry i haven't updated much lately, been busy. the freelance world is crazy...
anyway, i've never designed mech type stuff before...
i was just giving this kid over in the FF section some advice for his designs and got to wondering if i could walk the walk. haha
so here are some silhouettes
banged em out real fast like.
when i get home maybe i'll pick one and flush it out a bit more...
i might just carve a pumpkin.
i dunno... we'll see.
I hope you do finish out one of those mechs, great design work, really eye catching and pleasing to look at.

ok, this is the first time i've ever carved a pumpkin!
im so excited, i sat down in PS and sketched up like 20 different versions on top of a photo of my pumpkin. then of course i picked one and carved it.
im so happy with the way it turned out!!
here's the sketch and the final carving:
Cool stuff, like the pumpkin.
Haha, never seen someone so happy yo carve a pumpkin! Looks great but I'm sure you could have done something really sick with it. Do another!
For some reason, I really want to see the Christmas skull in color. I think that the different Christmas lights reflecting off of the antlers could have an interesting lighting effect.
Even without the color, though, the image is very dramatic. I like it, in a twisted sort of way.

(the first page was done on my flight to dallas... i dont like it very much)
your characters are soo great and very stylish... i like them very much
hey guys, i just finished processing all the OTHER photos i took on my trip to dallas. this set has nothing to do with the workshop... its kind of my photo diary of the stuff that took place outside the workshop.
-This Is Dallas-
i just realized i didn't post a link to my reverie photos..

Nice work from Reverie, great concepts!
