well since this new course started, i think ive checked the boards all of about twice? lifes been so BUSY with a job + school + the missus + putting up with the missus
anyway, the course has been really really awesome, and theres still 1 and 3/4 years left of it. im so excited! here's just a TINY bit of what i've been up to, i'll try and get some more up soon. any C&C appreciated
first up, this is one i did only thismorning, we had to find an image and then in the studio, try and take an image that looked as close to identical as we could (keeping in mind that we obviously didnt have the same props)
(what i copied it from)
Asoka, one of my classmates
My bike Helmet
closeup (dont really like this for the colour)
a completely different one, some natural framing
and some leading lines
as i said, just a fraction of the thousands of exposures ive made, any c&c welcome, and i'll try and get some more up soon!
Some C&C on the pics:
Good lighting in the studio shots, the first shot feels like its leaning to the right a bit. The highlights in the portrait shots are just a bit blown out, and I think you could have got some more contrast in the b&w converion. The helmet shots are nice. That nature shot with the birds is classical, nice framing.
cheers man, i thought the same on the first 3, and i even CHANGED the greyscale, looks like i'm still having issues with colour spaces tho. Cheers
Try using the channel mixer when converting to b&w. It gives you more control.
