Hot damn this is some nice work. That's great you got a full time job as a concept artist! Looking forward to seeing more if you find the time haha.
great SB man, i love the team chow stuff and photos! actually it really kicks my ass now!
aviable for fulltime and freelance
just discovered the animation tool in photoshop so great just had to apply it on some recent wip - good opportunity to give this thread an update
and thanks for all the awesome comments i simply love that community, ill answer them next time when i do a proper update, but have to focus on the team challenge now
Your work is so sick my mind can't handle it haha. Really though, this animation with the pulsing light in his mask is a cool touch.
Makes him look like an action figure since he's not moving but other parts of the image are. You're pretty much always going to
get that effect if you animate a part of the image but leave the figure static
Keep killin' it man, cheers
great sketchbook xbert, you just got a new fan
haha yeah benjamin
i totally agree, but overdoing things is how i learn new techniques when you go back a few pages you can notice when i discovered "chromatic abberation" and directly had to apply it to all new images so i will annoy everyone with cheesy animation effects on every new image until suddenly in a few weeks there will be that second of wisdom when i think "hey wait, thats crap" and from that on possibly found a way of constructively integrate it too my work hahaha just to support my point heres another 2sec anim
Getting better and better all the time. Love the color scheme on that last enviro.
gorgeous colour in the recent environment, killer vehicle concepts as well, loving it.
The animations are really cool touches, I don't know if you've seen Adrian Smith's website but a couple of the more well done animations on that were brought to mind from seeing yours.
Keep it up man, really cool direction you're going in recently.
ich will das auto, a.k.a great work man!

construct a future you prefer
uh its been a while since my last post oh wait last one was august?! damn quite alot has changed.. hehe well both it seems to me, and to this site
after 4 months working as a full time employee at atomhawk, i decided to go back to freelance again, for many reasons, mainly because i missed the freedom in what i do, and how i do it
since then everything has gone really great, i luckily have an awesome client base who keep constantly feeding me with great work and i putting alot of effort into any of those jobs
to move forward as an artist, and well in most of my freelance jobs i have a lot of creative freedom so its allways a great motivation to push the stuff extra hard
sadly all this work means that im not having that much to show here, as im mainly "just" doing work when i paint, theres only a few quicksketches i manage to do besides work every here and there
and most fo the job related stuff is under NDA for AAAAAGES anyway i wanted to get this thread active again, so heres abit after i replied to all the heartwarming comments of you great people!
DennisH-Art thanks alot man, haha well its been a while since i used the animatrion function last tiem, it was a bit like when i discovered "chromatic abberation" first time, and had to apply it on EVERYTHING but wisdom comes after a short while of experimenting, and art becomes a bit more "normal" again
xyphid thank you i hope i can continue improving forever!
S.F. Batchelor yeah adrian smith has some really cool stuff going! thanks for the nice words!
yogeshj25 thanks man!

PoO-kiE through every page? haha im sorry for the crap you had to look at for the first ... uhm 20 pages?! thanks man , means alot!
AngeUnge haha thanks!
jedijofis ehm... multiple faces?
heres some new stuff, first some quick sketches (40-60min):
illustration done for applibot
and a personal piece im working on, well i was working on havnt touched it for 2 months now, but im plannign to continue it after i completed some jobs
i tried to paint a sky as realistic as possible, it took me at least 25hours so far, i think more, except some few gradients i used the soft round standardbrush for the entire image
wich might sound stupid and not really a economic way to do an image like that, but i enjoy it, its a bit like meditating (oh wait, hmm if i enjoy it, why didnt i touch it for a while?)
wow cant say more than that I really loved browsing through your SB. Awesome work!!
