some of your paintings remind me Leyendecker XD
great stuff \o/
mrd33ds - Thank you!
GEB - Cheers mate, I appreciate the offer
p sage - Thanks, the depth was really difficult for me
PHATandy - Haha, cheers man. The piece started out as a study of the trees and I hadn't planned on having a character in there, hence the less than ideal placement - I totally agree with the crit though
Fernteixeira - That's probably cos I freakin' love Leyendecker haha
photo study of sorts:
man thats totally awesome o.o'
...and I love Leyendecker too xD
Following your comic story is great, I love the characters in it.
And the last two studies are perfect! It looks like you can capture landscapes in a detailed animationstyle. a beautiful animationstyle obviously!
have a good holiday, man.
Lovely sketchbook, every line is inspirational
Check your favourite Imaginary Friend's Sketchbook here (oh and don't forget to say hi)!
monotony - Cheers man! I'm aiming for a balance between animated and painted with my stuff, finally not scared of landscapes
Imaginary Friend - You're too kind, thank you.
Wish I could have sketched more while I was away, but it was so hectic and we were always on the move. Here's a small selection from the sketchbook I took with me.
Amaaaaaazing stuff, Love your style mate! You have great "hand" for your traditional drawings
NickyBeats - Cheers Nicky!
p sage - Yeah, it was a real eye opening trip.
Egg0 - I dunno, I think my traditional work needs a lot of practice still
Suprore - Well I know this is an annoying answer, but practice. Always be observant of the world around you, take in interest in colour relationships that you see and have fun experimenting with different combos!
sony - I can only imagine that they're for cooking - there were loads of bowls of insects and animals on sale as food.
skMOP - Thanks!
insane lemur - Cheers mate, I love abstraction
nim - I've been to Sweden a few years ago actually, but didn't keep a sketchbook that time - I only started doing that a couple of years after.
Digital plan for an acrylic painting I'm starting:
really cute !
I will be wait for the acrilycs xD
Love the little jungle village. The last piece is adorable.
Ditto on p sage's question.
Those are sweet illustrations.
Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!
Hey dude nice updates! Tried to send you a list of production companies a while ago but it didn't go through just sent it again
Fernteixeira - Thanks!
p sage, HunterKiller_ - The acrylic piece is for a gallery show. More on that soon
sony - Thanks
Vritra - Yeah, stayed near Babu Ghat for Puja, then onto Nagaland and Delhi! Damn, could have done with a little help from someone who knows the town
Pigeonkill - Cheers!
JesseM - I'm always thinking about the texture in my work, so I'm glad that comes across!
nim - I so wanna do a children's book, just so hard to break into!
GEB - Received it this time! Thanks for doing that mate, I appreciate it.
Had a few spare minutes, doodled this out:
