an assignment that I did for my Latin American fiction assignment. One of the things i've been trying to figure out is how some artists out there achieve such a line quality that it looks as though they only applied one line ? I lightbox things and I still end up having rough lines. If anyone can, I'd really appreciate it if I can get some advice on how to fix this drawing. Thank you.
Yep it's just practice. Exactly like emily g said. Something that might help is a good liner pen. You need a pen that will let you make smooth lines. Needless to say a crappy Bic pen isnt gonna cut it. Personally I use Staedtler Pigment Liners. They come in a set of 4 pens of various line weights. However theyre fucking expensive at about 15 bucks a pack. Micron pens are pretty good too and they come in an assload of different line weights. They run about a buck a pen which is much cheaper.
