IanE:thanks for the post, yeah, i try to be as efficient as possible with my brushstrokes. about the brow of her face, that was something i noticed myself too after i looked at it after a while. the prouty lips on the other hand, is something she really has on the photo.
Kfeeras:yeo, they are cool brushes. i have a lot of brushes downloaded from m@ and some from mr blonde and some i made myself. they are nice texture brushes with opacity controlled by pen pressure, so that it mimics real materials as much as possible.
Lyno: thanks man. i really hate that one actually. im pretty sure i will never lay my hands on that thing again
Envisor: i totally agree. that was the reason i did those hands from RL
Jakers: yes, i use that indeed. studies from rl/photo is extremely important indeed. thanks for the post man see ya
something diffirent now.. this is the stuff i sometimes do for work. the last week i was working on a project for work, in another office i usually stay (of the same company) way back in rotterdam. i did alot of work, including some illustrations for a project involving a big new neighbourhood. those illustrations/impressions should confince the investers to invest alot of money in the project. they should sell the idea of diffirent idendities within the area. it should be cozy (?) nice and very nice atmosphere...
i made all these in 1 day, i worked till late that night (3 o clock or something ) last 3 are colored by someone else.
great i use the m@ brushes, too!
nice illustrative style on the architecture drawings. though i think you should color them all by yourself, looks best and fits the style best!
(yay 400'th Post)
nice style in last update.. and nice progress!
nice improvement like the speedys from page 13 the 10 and 25 min ones they look cool just keep it up don't have something to add i like taht you work hard to be good and you will get good
Kfeeras:thanks, well there was no time left.. sometimes its good to team up
m0uS3r:thanks man. just trying some stuff

very nice works man. you have a lot of nice studies, and ideas for useful studies, so good on you for that. definitely, work on some finished pieces as well as your speedies and your studies. that last environment, the one from post 399, is awesome, btw. would love to see more of your ID-type work. do you do any of the _OW challenges on the .org? i think it would be good practice for you. i should enter one of those myself, actually...
anyway, if you do write in other people's threads, i'm sure you'd get somewhat more of a response. take care dude.
TheGnoll: yeah, i've practiced on edges, good you noticed that, i try to draw through all the forms, works for me i think.
SnobbyOo: thanks man, just trying
purb36: well, i have a pretty much finished piece right here. enjoy I shall draw some ID stuff to. i think i will work on my portfolio anytime soon. you're rioght, people that post a lot get more response in their own sb, but i just cant find the time i have to study again you know
here are some stuff i did yesterday evening. got a bit carried away with it
I am impressed with the amount of work and progression here!
Keep it coming
Haha nice work man, didnt expect the kind of studies you've been doing when I entered.
I liked the expression on your heads at the end of your post in post #398.
The good dog bad dog image is really cool, that was once again surprising! You should do a little more on him I think - the front shoulder could use some form definition, and I think we need some tone change between front and back limbs Glad you're still going
Dude!! Real improvement here!! I am loving tour enviros especially!!
Jakers: thanks, im practicing on the transition of a line drawing to a painting. and rendering in general, i agree that the shoulder is bad
D@niel:thanks man, cool you like them, yur caracters are ace.
alot of practicing. practicing colors especially, first two are expirements that turned out horrible and very bad, but i still show you them
sucky experiment 2
