[ p.o.v. means "point of view", or perspective... ]
[ I couldn't really fit it into the header, but the basic idea is that from somewhere behind the ship that's doing the shooting, we are looking forward at the ship that is getting shot. ]
[ I expect explosions. ]
Sci-Fi: AIR BATTLE OVER THE GREYISH WASTELAND (p.o.v.=FROM BEHIND AGGRESSOR)
Routed by the strength of the Great Red Dragon, the demon sought to outrun and escape.
My crappy little attempt.
Had some nice iamgery in my head of being behind the aggressor, so naturally I slaughtered that imagery with my artistic ineptity.
Space Sprayer - nice start, dont worry about the visual response now, thats what these DSG's are for, improving your skills, but i like the pic.
TomCardin - neat take on the idea, didnt think dragons when i saw the header, but hell why not! creative!
Goran - As ever, awesome work, love the b&w style works perfectly with the pic. the planes remind me of the old game Crimson Skies, very Luft46'ish.
Keep em up, if i could get my work on here i would, but i cant, so ill just hang around and watch what you fellas post!
Gorgan looking good as always. Very nice horsefly you got a very distinct style and you got that explosion nailed.
Horsefly - nice!
Goran - top notch dynamics, as always!
Another DSG topic I had a really hard time with... and no explosions for me. =(
Been a few days since my last post. This took most of the day while hanging out with my 10 month old. Hope you enjoy.
bout 30 min:
OMG this was hard. Character drawing is my strength. Oh and I dont paint much either. Did alot of little proofs and picked the one I liked. I cant seem to figure out how to finish out that background. I feel like if I add more detail it will swallow the mechs. Hmmm...
here is my attempt..
sorry for the lack of explosions
Drew the Zeppelin Battle cruiser with Google Sketch Up and did the sketch in Painter IX
