Oh my goodness. You have indeed improved. My favourite is the mechanical spider! Totally love it. You keep surprising me! Keep at it mate. Hope all is well!
turtleleech and the tarantula mech.. wicked stuff!!
true.. there were no signs of you for long...
keep posting and do feel free to come to my sketchbook too.
There is but one short cut to success...apparently its called Hardwork.
The Great Indian Mythology Character Design Trick - ( please do leave your comments on this sketchbook) http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=142727
Yep! +1 vote for the mechanical spider! Digs it!
again, sorry that i had to pull that work down,
Awesome work davi, the creature master is fantastic!
Ohnoes, an update?! Cool to see you post some more work dude
You've definately improved on ID stuff, that last ship is pretty solid I think. One thing you might want to consider is rendering of material. The overall impression is that the material on it is rather dull and not shiny at all, which I'm not sure is what you were aiming for. Reflections and hard contrast in parts could really help to punch this one out of the page I think.
thanks yoitisi, really good points
and thank you! I look up to your for advice on ID stuff
Here is a fan concept I did for the elder scrolls series. This character is from the "dark brotherhood" quest line in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
I wanted to spruce up a design i enjoyed with a different objective, to make the character more aggressive, instead of stealth based.
hope you enjoy!
The rendering is great!
One thing that bothers me though is his right arm (on the left for us). The foreshortening looks odd...
The vehicle above looks incredibly awesome to me though. It even represents a wolf skull.
Hope you're having fun with all the artses Davi
Hah, the Dark Brotherhood rocks. I think you captured the general feel of the group, though I think a couple additional weapons - maybe a dagger attached to his leg? - would add to the aggressive-osity.
That's some crazy design skill, getting the ship to look like a wolf skull. Is that something for work, or just for fun?
matte, thanks for painting that out man!
yeah i totally over looked that and it bothers the hell out of me now
will fix shortly!
also Cacodaemonia, the knife on the leg is a good idea! And the wolf skull was just something i was drawing for fun at lunches
here is a troll.
oh yeah i tried fixing that foreshortening issue also.
