i havent posted much in quite a while, but i scanned in 50+ sketchbook pages today to add to my website, so i figured i'd post some and get some feedback.
so here you go, let me know what you guys think of these
did this one using coro's marker ink wash technique...just fooling around with materials one evening..
pencil sketch for a large piece i'm working on...referenced a photogrph for the figure.
some doodles i did the other day..
a couple life drawings...
a quick sketch of Ludacris XIV.... part of my Decadence of hip hop series...
and a couple cadaver sketches...
i might post a couple more later if anyones interested
im just not worthy. thank you for being alive wes... i love then all, but the hip hop guy portrait is my fav. briliant technic.
Dude there are tight ..like the Luda one....how long have you been drawing?
Wow.. Wes, 3rd and 4rth are my favorites..
Did you use any references for the stuff on the 3rd page? The anatomy is bangin'

Or just put a link to where you put them on your site..

"Live each day like you will die tommorow, and dream like you will live forever..."
These sketches and painting are magnificent. I love them all! The first one is spectacular. Like Kress said, where do you go to school?
Please post more!!!
There is nothing wrong with using a photo to help you see things.
No one complains about life drawing,
so take a photo.
its easy, and will improve your piece greatly."
wes, i am completely in awe of your drawing ability and the obvious need and vivaciousness with which you pursue drawing.
these drawings knocked my socks off, buuuttttt, then i went to your site and the abundance is on the way to resuscitate me.
i have had a long day. i got mad, i stuck my foot in mouth, i felt a little the fool, but seeing your work has me smiling and excited about drawing again.
wes, i'm going to steal your childern and learn from their genetics.
awesome as always. Sorry about lying to you again about going to CIA, it's just a long drive out there, never too convinent, and i'm lazy. If it's still on i would like to go though. I need to get back into drawing tradational and life draiwng would probably be the best step. come on irc sometime and let me know.
the new server is IRC.AsylumNet.Org
most of the chat is still in #eatpoo
wes, after viewing every single piece on your page...no wait...after seeing the first few sketches you posted...i was/am humbled by your works.
simply amazing skill...wow.
your style reminds me alot of Alan Tew at www.beeba.net ...amongst others.
the only critique i can offer is on the cadavers; the're disgusting! haha..but thats just me.

gooood shit, very inspiring thank you!
i hate ass patting, but .. *sigh* your figures are beautiful.
WOW! I love all of them. I like the color and technique in the first. Post more, post more!
Damn, Awesome stuff Wes. Remember your work from a while back, was really good then too, tho think you've made even more progress. Kinda see abit of a Roundeye and Puddnhead influence in some of your doodles aswell, great cross of caracuture with realism.
Anyway kick arse stuff, look forward to more.

Awesome Wes. Your drawings are carefree in some ways, but full of substance in others. Cadaver drawings look nice. Nice to see some new stuff from you. Is the first piece going to be a painting?
