nice matt~ it's always awesome to see these sketches-- it's like a daily recording of your life visually ^^
oh and i just meant that the objects you chose for the still life didn't have much color aside from the orange liquid in the bottle-- so i just assumed for a monochromatic theme going on in that study xD awesome nonetheless!
Your photography is rad as well as your lil creatures. What kind of camera do you have? lens? aperture setting? I like bracketing a lot and over exposing my images, gives it a softer feel and makes it more interpretive instead of just straight photography. I used to use my dads old camera, olympus om2 with a 90mm zoom lens.. woo film.

ryanoir: thanks, ry
Odayga: lol, cool. yeah film is always superior if you want the originality but you can fake add that in photoshop. i use a nikon d40 with 50mm lens and a wide lens that came with the d40 body. i love post editing my photos, though it's a pain when i have to edit 500 after a show or photoshoot for 0$. thanks!
Metal Fingers: thankssss alexxx
teapo: haha! yeah i was thinkin about you the whole time i was in the hotel there, but couldn't get a hold of you. didn't know your msn or anything. now i'm only like 6 hours away in PHOENIX! WOO! loving that i'm missing all those winter storms in wyoming now!!
ryanoir: haha thanks
surus: thank you! haha, no problem it's what artists are here for. to share the wealth and experience!
Odayga: i used the new CS5 brushes that recognize your angle and pressure on the tablet. revolutionary and by far my favorite emulator to paint with besides oils themselves.
Metal Fingers: kanks yo toofi.

I can walk through museums that I've only dreamed of seeing! Also see the paintings up close! Perfect place for master studies!
I'm going to 3d this Bman I made. Sketchbook pages are held up until I can photograph or scan them. Don't have a scanner, so I'll be photographing them. LoL!
the values should be black in foreground and range lighter further out they go, of course, so i guess it looks weird cause youve got black in the middle ground aswell as the foreground with that light big in the middle, but yeah looks nice
i dig that photo study too,i like the batman a lot too
