MORE DRAWINGS. Loving them .
Sivonja: don't discredit yourself. you have a way to look at art that I do not have. a different point of view that i may have overlooked. your observational views may be stronger in one area than mine, and the same goes for other people's art. thanks for your words though!
Odayga: okay haha, thanks
I like thumbs that come to life. Also I maybe missing some days because I am moving to Phoenix this month. Busy, busy, busy.

Jesus thats beautiful, how long did it take you to do? looks like its mixed media.. photo/digital. Congrats!
It looks very nice, but her upper body looks too bulky ( Is that the right word? I am an Austrian, sry). So it looks some kind of too unreal for the realistic enviroment.
Just my opinion.
I am working on a cd cover for a friend, .... I am struggling with coloring it. Penciling and inking is not that much a problem, but when it comes to digital coloring I feel like a little girl. So, my deepest respect for painting this!
My sketchbook - take a look how my brain works http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=203795
I think Acki is right- draw the structure under there and she has both a broad back and a shoulder that has been pulled out of the socket. Where the shoulder and upper arm meet the back, especially in women, the arm is also a more flattened oval. Perhaps also adding a minor shadow showing the curve of the lower back would add to the form, but that might also take away from the iconic thing you've got going on.
Graphically I think making all the technical details on the back cover smaller would be helpfull. (Link of what I'm talking about -> link) Visually the boxes are basicly what you see before you read- the main body of the text. red>green therefore emphasis on red.
Oh... whatever... crit this crit that... all I seem to do is nag! Your sketchbooks are quite entertaining as are the photos and the cover is very, very well dones. I love the way you've balanced the cover with the lit sweep of the skirt.
Odayga: ha ha, thanks. It's all digital with photos and some digi painting in there.
Acki: You said it right. thanks for the crit!
Pixie Trick: thank you. very good crit. as for the text, the band is going to arrange it the way they want. so I just got to worry about the imagery. thanks again!! very helpful on the girl! hard to get her right!

This is after Beachbody Insanity 60 days workout. Now after doing P90X and Insanity programs completely, I have started P90X/Insanity Hybrid workout which is really fun! Wait for result pictures then! My abs are finally starting to show, finally. LOL! If I can do this, I can do anything!
Also I need to draw more! These old sketches suck! Updating for all next weeks days too, because it's going to be hell week here at work and I won't have time to post.

duuuude, coming along nicely, body and art. one thing i notice, your shorthand for hands is getting/has gotten tonnnnnnns better. props for that.
i agree with the crits about the cd cover. also, her dress in back, on the right side near her hip, i think just for shapes, it might do to make the downward curve from her waist to the hip shorter, and the rest of the flowy part an upcurve, so it brings the eye up the page instead of down into the corner. can diagram if you want.
in other things, i really like the rhino painting, i think it might be good to start with a different base color besides basic black though, so it can add more of a color contrast, or a warm undertone to your paintings. the black really kills it, deep color makes it more rich, and you could have so much more life there. like that pic with blue lips you like...i kinda did that at random, just playing with painter. but i started with a green base, added some red, then started with blues and purples for the shadow, and blended with orange for the lights, and that's kinda how it went. but having the colored darks and not black really gives it light, i think. try it sometime.
nice dubs, keep on steppin. on my playlist.
Metal Fingers: thanks i did shoot reference of my mom and it helped! you rock!
teapo : lol there's little muscle in my arms, more in my thighs. thanks!
purb36: great crits man! i can always rely on you for that! THANK YOU!
JailHouseRock2: thanks! learning bro!
Abstracts are fun! Here's my method: I use 2-3 random images from Yimmy Yayo, mash them together with the stamp tool and play with 2 new brushes each piece. The possibilities are limitless!!!
Also hate this 3 hour still life.
Some of your sketches have a lot of dimensionality...I wonder if it has anything to do with that red/blue thing goin on
In your most recent still life, I don't think the bottom of that bottle is quite at the right curve. It looks a bit skewed. But the luminosity is well executed!
