Quick speed paint on armor.
Teundeboer Thanks those armors were fun to make, I hope to make a ui for it later.
Black Spot ...haha I see your point. She would kind of have to wobble forward, too stiff and the rest of the legs are painted in.
p sage Thanks. Squirrels...taste like chicken! If you time to post up your sketchbook, looking forward to checking out your progress.
Character concept, a Lesser Valkyrie. One who has yet to earn her wings but still holds great influence over the battle field. She issues commands with her horn and great foresight of the victor in a battle. Her specialty is archery, with the ability to pluck own hair and transmute it into arrow in an instant. It still have to design her bow.
Male cartooning. I'm still practicing animation here and there. The gif file frame rate is a bit off, slightly better in the swf, but the ball still looks like it has a mind of it's own...haha.

Helloo :] thanks for dropping by my sketchbook.
gif animation test is cool. what do you mean with the frame rate? i`m not following frame rates so closely when doing animations?
Shouldn`t the ball be accelerating also?
Valkyre looks cool. the hair - even though i`m sure it takes her quite the effort daily to
have it stand like that, is a nice dynamic addition to her silhouette. Her arms though feel
rather short and her shoulder seems higher than it should be, making her pose awkward.
If does look much better as a swf. What and how are you exporting it that the frames aren't correctly timed?
p sage Thanks I'll check it out.
Mattinian In flash it has an option to add more frames for the animation. Mmm...ever play a first person shooter on computer? I heard 50 fps is ideal. The more frame per second the smoother, the fewer the faster the animation but more chopper at times. Sometime like that. The default setting on flash is around 20 which is smooth enough most of the time. I agree the ball acceleration is a bit off. Thanks for pointing that out, it made the Valk pose much better. I gave her a hair cut.
Black Spot Flash cs5 doesn't seem to have much options to export gifs animation but plenty for swf files. When I play the gift file in different internet browsers it plays as different speeds and grainy. The swf files seems to play more consistent in any viewer.
Practicing UI designs. WIP. The tricky part was finding a item size that was universal for rings, weapons, armor, helm, and boots. That would later fit like a puzzle in inventory. I think I found a shapes that fit 90% good.

She looks a bit short in the arm department. The upper and lower to the wrist are usually about the same length. I'm also not sure where her elbow is. Nice pose and attitude.
p sage Good idea. I tweaked her foot into perspective to help with the ground plane.
Black Spot Thanks. I lengthen her arms, showed her elbow and shorten her legs.
UI design more polished, it's the menu where you equip your warrior. Thanks for the tips on the character, I made some adjustments.

Awesome artist and friends
Quick animal gestures and cartoons. Created in vectors. It is fun to animate your own sketches. Gif/swf format.
SMILEFACE Thanks, glad to see you are back granny.
A lady on the phone. I revisited an old painting I did many moons ago. I hope it's an improvement.
Mermaid pattern commission.

Hey hey, liking that UI stuff. Animation look promising as well. That old painting revision is definately an improvement. Been thinking about making something like that someday, digging up some old shit and make it good.
Anyway, my only crit on that one is that her calfs seem way too long. Pose and gesture is a lot more interesting that the older one though.
AimBiz, It's fun to revamp old work. I agree I think over compensate her slender legs with the high heels. I shorten her leg just a bit.
P Sage: Haha, I'll ask.
Smileface: Thanks I'm glad you like the squirrel.
Here is background work in progress for Heartfire Studios. The generally theme is post-apocalyptic, a survival game to rebuild. I have different concepts from medieval times, abandon cities, to slump camps. I was to create different progress of the background from bad to good. I used various photo textures for the debris, and vegetation.

More polished background.
A guy doing some Kick Boxing...get it...kicking a box...haha...bad joke.
Hey PigeonKill, gret stuff on here.. I took a good trip on your SB and i have to say i love what i´ve seen. I like to see somebody developing both stylized and realistic styles! Also you animate, you´re talented no doubt! The only thing is that i would like to see some more environment design. very good work!
p sage: Thanks
SMILEFACE: Thank you
Ricardo Robles Okay I'll start thinking of some environment too.
Characters in progress.
The kick boxing geyser - he loses his sense of balance when he raises his leg. A;ways check where the weight will be.
