Hey guys I'm back from Alaska. Here are some photos from my trip. I'm not a good photographer but maybe it can be some helpful reference for you guys. I'll upload my sketches shortly.
Jeff Lai Thanks for stopping by. You work at cghub also caught my eye. Keep up the good work.
Fumble Thanks. I'll be working on a logo for fun for the ban hammer. Hope you enjoyed your trip. I have to check out the grand canyon one day myself.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect Thanks. I noticed you have been working hard on team chow. Even when you are tried you keep rocking away in your sketchbook.

During my trip to Alaska, I stopped by Canada, Ketchikan, Butch Art Gardens and Skaway. On the cruise ship I got to eat and draw myself away silly. It was a bunch of fun and great inspiration even with motion sickness time to time. The boat had an art gallery, which was nice. I spotted a painting by Pino. I'll upload a study of it soon.

Hey there, how are you?
I see you've been on a trip as well. I would love to go to Alaska as well someday, your fotos are also very tempting...
I like everything in the last update: The human studies in your typical style and the waterfront studies look beautiful with teh watercolour washes.
p sage Thanks, I always wanted to draw chibi's well. Hope I can improve on my architectural drawings as well.
Janos Hey, welcome back.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect It was blast to draw, it was a bit cold and raining at times to draw outside but it was so worth it. I wanted to get the most out of my trip.
Braintree Ah, you can always go back with fresh eyes and new ideas. I bet if you go back there will be less ice to see fromlobal warming, j/king
Fumble Yea, that flower garden, though amazing. Gave the creeps. It was almost too perfect and tons of flowers always reminds me of grave sites >.>
Updated logos sheet with the three at the bottom being the most recently done. Most people don't realize the amount of effort or variation that can just go in type face or logo concept. Still lots of fun though. Painting in progress on the lady, still working on better flesh tones. Sometimes I'm afraid to paint or draw people, but I just got jump in and try. Pino Study. Quick enviro studies done on the cruise boat. More life drawings/gestures done at Alaska.

p sage Thanks, I'll be working on another logo for a hobby shop soon.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect I think Yosemite would be a great place to visit. Every time I see great landscape, makes me want to brush up on my enviro
Painting of a Red Dragon, I got inspired by some of DefiledVisions's dragons. Some other pages from my sketchbook.
Liking the logos.
Judo one is especially nice.
Love the logos And the enviroments are sexy sexy .....but somethings missing idk its on the tip of my...o wait somethin with an L...yeah an L and some O's and maybe an M
idk if it comes to me ill let u know.
HunterKiller_ I actually took one short class of judo, so it help me understand as I made the logo.
p sage The bus girl keep staring at me...and I kept staring at her while I drew her.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect I retouched up the dragon, too much fun to pass up.
Demo Sure let me know if you see something that could be adjusted.
Sketches, weapon concepts, speed paint. Retouch up on the dragon done for Algadon.com. Some rpg free online game.
Thanks for all the comments!
You have some amazing studies I love it---especially the dragon!
Can I say this...um...the girl and the barn scene...the girl in the foreground with the bucket...her arm looks short and out of proportion with her body. When I saw her, I thought she was a---ah....pc.....pc....dwarf isn't PC, is it? Well, I know there are people like that...if she is, then it looks great and gives the piece kind of a sad feeling.
Grandmassa Mr. Spect: Thanks, It was a nice speed painting of the barn. Maybe I'll finish up the other dragon painting.
anjyil I think you are right, the proportions are a bit off. The painting shows the girl cleaning up the stables while the other guest are having fun feeding the pony. Now that you mention it she does look like a dwarf...I don't know the PC correct word either >.>
p sage I guess I should have socialize more, ask pretty girl out instead of draw them. >.<
Nude study with reference, study after Loomis, logo and Zealotus painting in progress.

I love the mixture of styles you have going I can't wait to get into loomis, but that isn't until a little bit later in the free course I am taking.
Ah I saw you got the girl in there--when it is outlined like that, she looks fine. So maybe it is just her lower half fading into the shadows along with the position of the shirt.
Very nice work
My full range of work: http://anjyil.deviantart.com/gallery/
My weird sketchbook here (it`s best to just skip to the end haha): http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...06#post2430006
anjyil Thanks. Probably my sloppy shading then. I'll work on that. I'll be sure to check out your sketchbook.
Huey Yeng You have cute new avatar. Variations are always fun. Hope you have a blast a Sony.
Braintree Thanks. I'll be trying I'll trying to get better flesh tones and faces next in the mix.
I'm puckered out, mowed the lawn, cut some bushes, vacuumed and plowed some dirt. But always room for one more painting before the end of the day. It's Zealotus from Ragnarok online. Something more painterly in anime style, most of the time I do clean line work. Nice to have the lightening do the work. Speed Paint
Dragon painting in progress...

Sweeet SB! so many different things! You grasp it all and Alaska seems so beautiful.. reminds me of norway. That dragon is looking great, I am honored. The logos are awesome, Banhammer's my favorite haha!
keep it up!
p sage That Dominatrix like character is from Ragnorak Online. I like how the expression came out too.
DefiledVisions Thanks, I really enjoyed look at your dragons, reminds me of the card game Magic The Gathering. Anybody else who use to play that game here?
Huey Yeng Zealotus was just a speed painting, but I have been polishing up the dragon speed paint.
Finalized simple logo for Harwood Hobbies, A bit more details on the dragon speed paint. Bougeureau study, still need to polish out some edges.
Hey PK. Thanks for the Alaska photos, beautiful. And thanks for showing stages of WIP's like that. Real useful for those of us trying to work this digital deal out. So, there was no outlining at all in the Bougeureau study?
