Wow. Nice style and detail, but the faces of the little people seem to be really white or something and I can barely make out the faces because of that. Probably because of the white background. Nice piece of art though, very nice. :chug:
hey thanx incognito..glad to hear that..it was one of the toughest art piece i've ever did in my life..
traditional or digitla media...i don't do computers yet, so i can't tell! awesome image, looks a lot like this turkish art show i saw last week.
Not quitting my dayjob just yet...
hi peckham..its traditionally done..alpha water colors..
thanx for the comment
Jesus, it must have been painful to do that kind of detail in watercolor. How big is this? Your color relationships are right on; it looks very realistic.
hey..thanx tedsuo..yeah..indeed this is hell a torturing piece of art..i used the entire day to paint this..started of at 6pm..ended in the next afternoon 12 pm..its 18 hours.its just an art block size..however..the result was pleasurable..i couldn't believe that i've actually done this..
you worked on it, through the night and morning? Wow, thats dedication.
thanx again incognitowell i actually took half an hour nap in the middle of the night and then continue again till the next day afternoon..took my dinner earlier that day and started of till the next day..skipped the breakfast as well..
yikes.. could be a photo
hmm..yeah.some would confused that this is the real thing..its ok..i'll show u guys the real picture as soon as i scan it..u'll be able to tell the difference theni wasn't the best in my class for this painting..didn't even get an 'A' for this.
you used a ref?
You didn't get an A?! THAT IS WRONG! SUE THE TEACHER!!!
hehe, sorry, its just such a great piece of art. That reminds me of the only private art class I have ever tooken(if I remember correctly) where the teacher would say great work to everyones painting/drawing, but when he looked at yours he would say like nothing....hate art classes now...usually. Yeah, Great work, like always. Sorry for rambling.
nope.its ok~.no A for this.the result does not matter much..just as long as i learn something out of it..well i did use refference on this..nothing wrong with the lecturer..mainly becoz he set a high expectation on us..thanx anyway
