@TheGnoll: jeah i was watching the dvd's and i need to say its amazing how quick you learn this stuff
...posting will be continued
two heads i chose to draw from a book called "women see women"
ISBN: 3-8296-0776-6. This book has some great photographs to do some sketches.
How can I miss my boyfriend's sketchbook!
Those eyeballs are perfect, they have a nice variation of texture which can tell they're the eyeballs from different creature.
The new sketches of the woman are nice. showing an expression of a human being is not a easy job, but I think you did a good job!
Just one suggestion, next time when you do pencil sketches again, you can try to use only one pencil to sketch, but still can make a big contrast of dark part and bright part. It's a good practice for the sense of your hand to draw heavy stroke and light stroke!
Keep on working!! Give us more amazing art from YOU!!!
some various sketch of fantasy and real life anatomy
the first character of 5 or 6. This project is called "the black parade" (inspired by a song from "chemical romance"). The characters are also inspired by the four horseman of the apocalypse. They will have a lot of difference but based on the same idea. I will redraw them later and make some paintings out of it. But first here the sketches
This one should represent the illness in this world
The eyes are made in photoshop. I watched a tutorial from Neville page called rendering eyes. Most is just round shapes on top of each other and some custom brushes. Nothing fancy but the reflection make them look quite good. Tha is just a white layer with about 20% opacity and then the reflection erased inside of that layer.
