I would love to see an animated street fighter gif with some chun-li kicks
The samurai gif really rocks ^^
keep it up.
miycko I hope I can do something good with it!!Thanks, mate!!
Pyroclasm00 Thank you very much,my friend!
Noukah Really?I still thinking that is crappy...but I´ll give it another chance! Thanks,Noukah!
sh1fty Haha,maybe I´ll do one with chun li kicks!!Thanks!!
B-Man Thank you very much,B-man!!
Giorge I wanted that shivering effect! As I was duplicating layers,I changed slightly some brush strokes to achieve that effect more...cartoonish!! Thanks a lot, man!!!
monstertree hummm...not just look at them,mate...not just look at them...hahahaa!!Thanks,monster!!
Well,I updated the chun li pic with a new step, roughly defining Zangief muscles and sketching the backgrond!Need to work on light and tons of things more!!!!
I like the style of your SF characters, you are pretty good at shading and coloring although the line work is a bit sketchy.
man i've been missing some stuff in here!
absolutely LOVING the animated samurai and YES, you should finish that and make even more!
i'm guessing making fully painted gifs must be quite a time consuming thing, but again, it looks GREAT!
the SF fan art piece is looking good too, but there's some crazy stuff going on in zangief's anatomy imho (esp in his back) and you should experiment with changing your shots once in a while, you seem to often use the same perspective, horizon height, and that gives all the pieces a similar look, imho tilting the horizon already adds dynamism to the pic, palcing it higher will make the viewer "look down" at the subject, and placing it lower will lower the viewers point of view, experimenting with this kind of thing could give your stuff an even stronger appeal imho
(hope i've been clear )
keep 'em coming maaaaan!
You have been very clear and right also!!I wanted some dinamic stuff for this scene, but damn,I am just too bad with perspectives!!!I need to make a lot of studies about it!Finally I decided not to mess around with it for now and go for a simple view..I know,is not the best choice and I am so fucking lazy!!!But you are right...and the back of Zangief really looks awful now,I have to fix some muscles cause now it looks so damn bulky and without sense.........Thank you very much for the advices,my friend!!!!
Edit: Fiuff...that back is driving me crazy...

Updated with a new step containing ridiculously small progress....10 minutes of work...ok,I admit it,just updated that to have my SB up...I am such a rat!!!!
By the way, does anybody knows about a good program (or the best) to create animated gifs or little animations?Since all of you seem to love the little samurai,I´ll take it seriously, but I am not sure if PS is the best tool to make it...
Lots of things to do but no time to do it!!!Damnnn!!!!
For animations, my roomate just got a hold of Toon Boom, it looks pretty awesome - it automatically lowers opacity on neighbouring frames, has an easy keyframe system like flash, and has a lot of format support as well....worth checking out!
Looks like a fun but very challenging scene you've got going on. your BG characters are very fun.
Jakers, you are the man!!!Thank you so much for introducing me Toon Boom!!!What a fantastic software!!!I just watched some demos at youtube!!Now I need to buy it,guess I´ll do it online cause it will be hard to find it at the store near my house!!
Hey people!!!It´s been a long time!!!I haven´t been drawing, lots of things to do first, but these days I have benn sculpting again, one of my favourite subjects: Dinosaurs!!
I love paleoart, and I decided that it´s time for me to give it a try myself!!
My first dinosaur is a Styracosaurus!!
The dino is just too cool man. You have quite an incredible sketchbook. Awesome stuff.
