Hey bran man,
thanks for the comment bro. Rebecca ? evrytime i went to her thread I saw those digis. dont know , I look properly.Yeah , Hurri rules wth pens man, hs the dope.
Heres another pen sketch
good lookin sketch bro, put some more work into studying faces and drawing them. this one is feeling too flat, watch the rendering around the mouth and eyes. Getting to really know the planes of th head can help a lot in this regard.
But nice drawing overall, like I said I'm digging what you're starting to do with your linework. It's getting looser everytime, try putting some more variation into it!
Thanks for the comment and te crit.
Okay so update tiume.
So I have been reading mein kamf < yeah the autobiography of Hitler. Its quite intriguing to look at the world thorugh the eyes of a monster, or maybe a dillusionally ill person.
So I am also thinking of putting some rough drafts of the story in sequential sorta way.
nice sb. some interesting stuff in here. to crit some poses seem a little stiff. I am guilty of the same. Also you might want to pay attention how you describe different textures with the mark you make. more!
A friend asked me to do something more cartoony so I started scribbling, I am not te biggest fans of teh cartoony style but som stuff looked beter than the other.
Hey Bhanu, apologies for not showing up sooner. Im digging these pen sketches, mabey try focusing more on strengthening up those lines. Your making improvements which is great man, keep up those studies!
been a long time since we talked eh?
Still good to see you here man. yeah linework needs a bloody lot of work .
Thanks for the encouragement.
Okay so, heres another page of red pen art.
Sketches comin along nicely mate! Your figures are improvin. I'd like to se more hawt action though, like the howling guy in the penultimate paper. I'd like to see some pencils, shadowing practise. Anywho, lookin good indeed!
Thanks for teh commetns guys,
Daniel-Great to see here bro. my anatomy work is slcking. have to work mroe.
Orifice-,.hey man. Pkay so you want some action you will get some action and yes some pencils too.
next update will be one of those.
For today though a painting. tones suck ,it sucks compleetely . but wtf eh?
Improving a whole bunch Bhanu! The sketches are nice, but try and strengthen the line quality like has been said. With the painting, it's not too bad, but with the face try and use the same method as you do with the body rather than just dark outlining. So it all flows Keep it up man, great progress.
hey bhanu, thanks for stopping by in my sb - really like the water colors, it's such a tough medium... i second jake on the outline, but really enjoy your choice of colors. great second book over all, take care!

Hey guys thanks for the replies,
@ jake- your wish is my command sir. Umm I ahve been tringout tones but water colos are hard . its hard to keep similar tones. I will try .thanks for dropping by though.
@stine- hey man. thanks for the comment and the advice.
@spudstudios- thanks for dropping by mate . and cheers
I ahve done more watercolors , but they are as shitty as the one here so I may not upload them .
Thanks for visiting my SB. Like your work here. I'd like to see how you progress with your line work. I would suggest to, now and then, discipline a bit and use long sweeps to get the long gesture of the torso to the leg, etc. Try it and see what happens when you resist the multiple strokes for one sweep. I know that as you search for the right form you can use many lines in your search. Imagine the shape you want B4 you draw it. Cleaner lines are also more efficient and read easier. One way is to do a trace over your original and find the lines that describe the gesture best and sweep them out on the tracing.Originally Posted by DanielC
I've done thousands of copies of quick sketches, from some super advanced students and picked up their thinking on just this aspect. This was a important part of my training. Just a suggestion, your work is always getting better and better.
Keep up the great studies.
hey u have some good stuff here man....but poses are a little stiff....cool work keep it up
Daniel and Aztec have said it - don't get too messy with the lines. Every line should have a purpose!
But the updates are really good, I'm digging the lot. Keep these up and keep focus, always think about what you are doing!
thanks for the comments guys,
@axtecfireflower- thanks for the advice. yeah I ahte my won scribbles. Ia m good at tracing though , dont knoiw why , but I will try my best.
sepulverture-Glad you likde my stuff.
Hari-Hey man , glad to see another Indian in my pages. thanks for the advce.
Bren man- sir I will try to keep away from the mess
heres anoptehr experiment =mess
I get the feeling that you may find it useful to challenge yourself to increase the orderliness of your details by a notch when you do your sketches. I maybe wrong of course, whatever is comfortable for ya.
Sorry for not dropping by earlier man, you're making good progress with the water colours - I can see you are gaining more confidence.
But I think you are still trying to be too illustrate-ish with it.
Go have a look at Solon's thread over at SoFA, look how he creates form with his water colours. Try using them like that to get the most out of them I think. I think when you are able to do this effectively, you will be better equipped to do more detailed rendering in water colour as you are now!
ciao man, keep well!
lota impovement quickly ! exelent man ! i see you doing people lay outs .. thumbs studies perspective .. and panel work ... u know what your looking for enjoy your self geting there ! keep up the good work mate!
great stuff. Nice studies.I prefer your looser stuff. The blobby Pen work looks great. I don't think I'll sketch with much else myself these days.
Check my sketchbook if you're bored
And my blog!
heyya people, The new years round the corner,
Yay, I know not much is going to change tomorrw but I like celebrating. Okay I ahvent been able to update. but atleast I did tak out time to do some sketching. I was thinking od doing couple of new year paintings but Shit got delayed. I will try doing them tomorrow and posting them.
Have a fucking happy new year.
cracking updates my man. My biggest crit is look at how the head attaches to the torso - the women's neck isn't looking convincing enough, and the dude is looking a bit flat. watch your proportions bro, but overall I love the texture you've created - really awesome, please continue using it. Really nice stuff, you're making solid progress
cheers man and HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR!
hahaha, that year-killing-pic is awesome.
i think you should listen to Daniel, you tend to get stuck on basicly one tone. I too have got this problem, getting stuck in midtones. Don't be shy - get some black in there!
by the by, I like the red pen sketches, very nice.
happy new year!
