Ulver : Thank you. Though I feel skill wise I have not improved too much, but rather on relaxing and enjoying myself more with the art.
Norris : Thank you! No I am afraid I am not familiar with those books (though I googled them)
More SPOD´s and experimentations. Many of these last ones started of with Al.chemy sketches.

awesome new selfportraits, dude. you're cooking with creativity!
just make sure to do some "standard" ones inbetween as well.
I absolutely love the style-diversity here but if you slip in a few more where you work with basic schemes and use constuction lines as well that might help you use stylistic aspects more focussed.
looking forward more!!
monotony : Thanks mate, totally noted, will have to see what I come up with in the future.
Just some speed paint studies. I been super busy lately... But that is life! Just gotta stay on the horse
Been working on thumbnails a lot lately. Getting my creative juices flowing ya know. More to come soon. Portraits, and sketches on next update!
wow....dude there are some huge improvements going on here
i really like your portraits a lot....and i feel a little touch of whit brachna-tic inspiration in them
This is a real fun sketchbook to go through!
Amazing alchemy usage, why no update.
Haven't updated this thread thread for a while. Just giving a heads up that updates will come. Been super busy with various parts of my life. Art, work, school, ect. Been trying to plan and work out several things. Will show and explain once I return. And once I am back, I am back!
Till then, Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!
Now quick replies, (actually currently at work...)
Metal Fingers : Thank you, your comment is much apreaciated. That pixelated one was deff inspired by Coro, love his shit!
TheGnoll :Your words always mean loads to me! Actually the other day I was thinking of our little alchemy -teamup. Was lots of fun, and I learned tons. Would love to try that again. I also have to get my arse in gear and start msn chatting with you more. Like I said before, once I'm back, I'm back. I am putting myself back on track!
ArtDisaster : Cheers mate
Star Eater : Glad you enjoyed the viewing
LEEBLEEB : Thanks for the visite! Alchemy is a great program for random accidents for thumbs and brainfarts. Your alchemy stuff is wicked too! Updates will come as I said I've been slacking!
DStraX - Thank you mate, I see you doing great stuff in your sketchbook too lately! I will definitely will have to drop by again to leave some comments And I do have future plans to work more on those characters.
MatejaPetkovic - It is an honor having you drop by my humble place. Thank you, love your work!
I have not forgotten my promise I will come back strong, it is just taking a while to get myself organized. So many plans and ideas that need organizing and planning. Just to show I´m not dead, here is one of my latest projects:
This project was for a gallery arranged by great people I know.
The theme was TIME.
The entries were amazing and contained a large variety of styles. Truly inspiring, and even though I did not feel totally finished with the piece, I am still pleased with the current result.
This is the digital version, done in both Photoshop and Corel Painter.
The original was printed out and worked on further with traditional medias.
I am sure this will not be the last time I touch this piece.
I call it: You can´t Hide from TIME
Enjoy, until the next update.
Looking forward till my website is up and running (yes, this is one of my projects) so that I can upload images from there. I am really hating this CA uploader...
Two quick skin-tone studies, and a small sketch. Gotta get my ass back in gear!
Until next update!

Seeing I have been getting a lot of positive feedback on these Al.chemy idea-sketches for future characters, here is a dump. Gonna be away for a while, so wont be posting in a few days maybe. Perhaps just one more dump before I leave.

Again an al-chemy dump to fester your eyes on. I´m sure people are getting a little sick of these so I´ll post something different next time!
As promised something defferent.
This is a poster I made for a school assignment, last year.
Last year Bergen held its International Festival. One of the shows was a tribute to the famous Ole Bull and his 200th year anniversary. Seeing we had to make a poster for one of the shows, I found Ole Bull appropriate.
I had a lot of fun with this, using different mediums. Logo of the festival down at the bottom left I got from the website with their permission. Best viewed large, but these will hopefully suffice.
I also made the font for "festkonsert Ole Bull".
I used natural medium, Corel Painter, Photoshop and Illustrator.
I love the variety you've got going as of lately, you really seem to be tackling a lot of areas, i'm tryin to do the same, it's draining..too many interests!!
and i like the color combo you originally chose, and possibly the 3rd in the list, but none of the others tickle my fancy.
and i love the close-ups of that "time" piece!
keep up that creativity, very refreshing!
Dope Fiend - I am indeed trying to stay experimental and open to different areas. After all, art has many faces. One can never learn enough. Thanks for stopping by!
Quick post, 3 doodles done in class during the teachers presentation. Gotta run home and pack now seeing I´m leaving this weekend. Will talk about that later
Have a great and creative weekend people! Remember to spend some time with friends and loved ones!
wowow so much work!!

hey dude cool alchemy stuff lately, I have to admit you kick my ass in that program
I have a request for you!!! What i would like to see is more studies, do some still life paintings of stuff around your desk.
Try to find objects with different surfaces, and sett up a good lighting that don't change. that shit will drive you mad
julianR - It is indeed! And great for relaxing a late night after work. Just going with it...
Velocity Kendall - Thank you for popping in! Love your work!
DStraX - Challenge accepted! Just not in this post I´ll start setting up a still-life to get at it!
I am back from Trondheim. Was on a cup with underwater-rugby team. Great sport, totally underrated. Though I am now pretty much beaten up and exhausted. Though spent a lot of thinking too.
So today I quit one of my jobs. I decided to focus more on my schoolwork and personal portfolio. Really trying to set my goals and remove all that comes in their way. Great feeling!
For now some unfinished/wip figures
a la bapsi - I know, I lack a lot of foundation. I have been slacking on both anatomy and studies in general. Gotta shake my self into action again! thx for stopping by
DStraX - Been very busy lately, always something to do. I cleared a spot for life study, then cluttered it up again. Will post something soon! Just quick dump of September 2010 spod´s. But trust me, studies will come!
Trenger ikke være konkuranse, men er greit å få spark i ræven av og til
nice update dude! i find its easiest to be minimalistic when drawing faces, draw as few lines as possible. If your drawing for a model or yourself try to look at the most distinct stuff first. If your going for likeness, look at the distance between eyes, nose, mouth, chin ears and so on. thats usually what messes up my portraits
