d-d--dude, im totaly digging these masks. awesome awesome. :
I like the mask. Nice detail, interesting look...though the blurred black on the bottom is a bit distracting.
Congrats on P5.
fragmentedchimp - I'm glad you like, appreciate you coming by!
Beonarri - Thanks for the input mate!
Banshax - Cheers! You're gonna change your mind after this update though, mwha...
Mignola-inspired fairly disproportioned sketcher doodle >:3
Dont loose hope Spats. I think you`re just tackling to many things at the same time.
- Figuring out gestures and turning it into solid forms
- Imaginative drawing from your mind
- Figuring out color
Perhaps for a while do gestural stuff with simple colors schemes?
I mean Give yourselve a chance to improve withouth stumbling upon stuff you dont want to worry about yet.
That Sure works for me, this stuff is hard enough as it is.
Keep rocking it!
Dile_ - I really aprreciate you coming by and thanks for the crit! I still think 4 is total overkill though 8D
Banshax - Thanks mate... yup, that's very very true. A very short attention span will do that to ya ;] Good advice aswell, I'll put it to use.
OldNoobie - Haha I couldn't resist it! Cheers!
my scanner hates me, I swear... regardless I dug out ye old pencile and decided to start filling yet another sb o.0

Checked it out
Liked what I saw
Sirio_Brozzi - I don't know either what it's supposed to look like ;] - Thanks a lot, glad you could take a peek!
mentler - Thanks for taking the time to come by this little book. Your thread has been an enormous help!
OldNoobie - Thanks! I'll do that
The 'tech stuff' is a by-product from watching some gnomon dvd's...
some very embarassing heads...
bug-eyed sketcher monster gone terribly wrong
Thanks for watching!
Hey man thanks a lot for dopping by my SB! And oh Nile is awesome! Looking forward to the new album for sure!
My favourites here are when you fill up whole pages with sketches. I suggest you do some anatomy, you have any Hogarth books? I love them! I seriously have made love with them. Not sure what to say really, just keep drawing, draw from life etc. I have started to use a mirror alot when doing sketches, I believe it helps. So just keep on updating and listen to Nile!
EDIT: Oh and cool, you're from scandinavia!
I like the last one...though I have no idea what I'm looking at, it looks like an evil, deformed Sputnik launching off...but I could be wrong. Tech stuff needs work, but I'm sure your know that.
Fun stuff as usual, keep it up.
Sarcophagus - My pleasure sir! Yup, anatomy def. needs a lot of work(as do all the aspects in my drawing) but doing some Hogarth studies sounds cool - I like the way he exaggerates the muscles for easy studying :]
Beonarri - Haha yeah, I had something like that in mind. Thanks for the crit!
quick sketcher poop
tried noodling some colours on an older sketch :]
hey man I like the bug eyed sketcher monster gone terribly wrong lol! I also appreciated the lines of the sketch below that. keep up the good work
---:::the eye of the beholder:::---
Cool designs, man. Keep it up!
b.one - Thanks! I will!
Momus - Hey, glad you like them!
OldNoobie - Hehe cheers, maybe in the next life~was working in oc so I accidentally flattened the image and lost all the layer data ;]
(c) - thanks - I have something similar in store
some sort of star wars theme week on sketcher so some funny helmets and yhes, chibis(sorry Lee~not posting these just to tick you off ;])
one on a forest speeder-like thingamus
this time I didn't flatten it, ha! I got a bit carried away with the highlights so maybe I'll try to tweak this one around(oh yeah, I know the beak's off-center too ;p)
Thanks for watching!
edit: was surprised to see the doodle on sketcher hadn't been erased yet so I continued to work on it a bit

Actually, I like those chibis, they're cute. I could never draw stuff like that, it always end up coming out weird looking
this one looks good, I don't think the beak is off centered though maybe push the light and dark a bit more.
Wow, lots of improvement has taken place since I was last here. Your line quality in both the tablet and pencils are more confident. You have a wonderful imagination, and your improving your ability to pull from your mind conceptualize on paper/tablet. Work some more anatomy studies in if you could. For the anatomy of the arms, Your lines are all curved. Now I would ask you do do the same arm studies again, but this time use mostly straight lines. Trust me if you want more realisitc approach to your figures, straight lines read much better, than curved lines. To many curved lines tend to create a wonky more cartooony approach to drawings.
Keep working drawing,
its paying off
OldNoobie - hehe cheers, I will!
Darktwin - A million thanks for the input, I'll get right on the arm studies!
tried mudbox, had fun. I'll refrain from posting too much 3d stuff in the future though.
tried painting over a model in oc, here's the model.
Thanks for looking, better updates coming soon!
I think you dodged a bullet. You had the traditional media on another page, and the 3D media on this page...had they been on the same thread pages, you would've caused a dimensional rift that would've destroyed the sketchbook!
My only major crit, is that you should avoid the blurry brushes. They make my eyes hurt a little when looking at them, and they are kinda amateurish. Some nice painty-type brushes and texture brushes would help. (I have a couple if you want to check them out).
Anyways, good work, keep going!
That pink thing, the featherless bird? Yeah. I fucking love the texturing on it!
Beonarri - Haha~ Yeah, sorry about that. Sketcher isn't a powerful tool but lots of fun! I guess I could always run a sharpening mask over the sketches!
Momus - Glad you like it, thanks for taking a peek!
I never think ahead~I'll try to keep the lines sharper in the future. Studies soon :]
Thanks for looking
Hey mang! Your designs are all distinctive, and has spats written all over, which is awesome! I think you should take your lines to the next level, and add more form and colour like in 257 and 262. Add more details and contrast here and there, and your stuff will pop. Lookin forward to more!
Hey man, finaly dropping by your SB.
You've got some great stuff in here, and have definetly shown major improvement page to page. I would have to say your strength seems to be in your environment/perspective sketches.
My only crit would be the usual 'do more anatomy stuff', as boring as it can be.
Love your B&W stuff.. keep up the good work, I'll cya in sketcher.
