Both from photo reference, each about 1.5 hours
I really like the portraits. The top one is a really good start. I would probably just spend another 2 hours on that one refining the hair and then and the skin. It would make a nice piece.
another one from reference, about 2 hours
object studies from life, each about an hour
hand sketches from life.
fungi from photo reference.
figure drawing from life from the last three weeks
Hey there! It looks good here so far.
I like those figure life studies. Nothing to crit really, keep doing those life studies you are on a right track with em.
Figure drawing from life.
Really nice start
! You have a great style and your pencil studies are really lovely. Keep it up!!
From reference: this video with great lighting http://vimeo.com/63602119#
Hi Samia, Thank you for visitng my sketchbook and giving some crit.
You have a great sketchbook and I really like the looseness of your figure drawings. Toned paper and white pencil for highlight really help bring them even more to life. My crit would be i think you could push the value range between your portraits some more. I hope this helps!
@Mel1710 - I agree, I've been working from photographs that very general lighting.
from photo reference, about 2 hours.
quick 20 min sketch w/o reference
Nice SB, I like pencil studies the most, they have good and free line-flow ))) Keep it up)
