A big bow before you, for putting up some new inspirational stuff, Doc
Lovely works! Your sketchbook is inspiring. It makes me excited to learn anatomy.
Your art is just stunning. It amaze me in the same way as the work of the great Leonardo.
Bowing to the ground before you.
this is sweet stuff!
My favorite sketch book on this site, It'd be cool if you checked my sketchbook out. I dont have any anatomy studies in it yet(just made it earlier today), just caricature type stuff.
This is the menu graphic for my new dvd
Oh this is looking really intresting. I hope I'll be able to buy one of your DVDs in the future, the last one I am particulary intrested in.
ALso I am wondering a bit about "Tuesday Afternoon Figure 1:30 to 4:30" DVD, what does this one contain? I know it's figure drawing, but how have you structured the session?
"I wish to paint in such a manner as if I were photographing dreams" - Zdzislaw BeksinskiMy Happy Little Sketchbook, please check it out and help me get better!
Great work, sir!
I haven't looked at all your pages, but from what I've seen its excellent. Very scholarly and studious. Feel free to visit my sketchbook anytime. : )
I've been following your SB's for a while, and it's really shameful that I've never said anything sooner given what an inspiration they are, and have been, your beautifully constructing style which I've not seen anywhere else, I really like the way your images build themselves up, but that the scaffolding - so to speak - contributes to the image as a whole rather than makes it just appear messy.
Here are a few new pages from
my never ending notebooks
Visual feast! Thank you, mr Mentler for sharing this!
A Few More Notebook Pages
ah yes, thank you for sharing mentler i love your work i learn so much from this thread
The Renaissance quality your sketchbook pages have is really creative and unique.
Everything is better with dinosaurs.
Coffee stains and other things
Awesome as ever, thanks for the inspiration
great style and studies i love the flow of the bodies. i have to add tough that your faces tend to have a little strange angle.. seems like the chin goes to far away from the neck and the headpart is very small
my Sketchbook plz help me become a better artist !
Glad to see you're updating here again. Was missing your work. It has quite a lifeforce and sustaining energy to it (at least for me when I look at it). Drawings that read and are convincing have that power, and yours are that and then some.
Nice as always
Thanks all for your wonderful feedback.
That helps keep the sketchbooks alive and well.
If you like what you see check out my DVD
