Trying to get my butt back in the forums! I havent been working on any "cool" sculpt projects lately, just commissions that I don't really want to share.
Anyway here's something i'm messing with.I started it way over a year back and I'd like to finally finish it in the next week or two. Tired of seeing the poor thing hanging around all grey and dingy. i want to add lots of "gear" on this dude, both sculpted and found objects, maybe some sort head gear.... I can't WAIT to paint him, I love painting scaled type creatures. I'll try to get nicer photos of him soon, too...I'm just really eager to post tonight
This guy is about 11" tall.
Thanks so much for your time!!
Oh hey and for fun here's a "toy" i got molds made of ( molds by awesome Scott Wilkowski). i got a few copies of this guy done before the mold just gave out. Fun, eh?
Cool, the wrinkles on the first one is very nicely laid out.

im a noob!
what kind of material you use for the dino in the first pic?
Nice work i like them a alot!!!
The colored are not my thing but that ist art!!!
Thanks! I use sculpey for the dino guy. I'll post more photos as he comes along...
I really wish the molds for the little monster guy hadnt busted...I'm trying to get more molds of that done myself but damn, two part molds drive me nuts! I used too floppy of a silicon for the main body mold so the thing leaks because it bows out from it's own wieght.I've tried boxing it, it still sucks....argh anyway, that's boring talk. Thanks for the comments!
I gotta say missmonster, that I've been a fan of your work for awhile now and this "reptile-sapien" is a great addition to your portfolio. His anatomy is perfect (and just fun to look at), his pose is very dynamic and the details are well thought out but simple and not over-done.
Your "toy" is fantastic as well and it looks like you had a lot of fun with him. Awesome and enjoyable stuff all around.

Why didn't I have toys like that when I was a kid...?
I am totally awesome and one day I'll be able to prove it.
Sofia, exactly what I thought.
missmonster, it's always a (rare...) pleasure to see you post ! What is the first dino boy made out of ? It looks like water based clay but from what you're saying, isn't.
