Fishspawn-thanks , i will look at some loomis.
i will try and get some more frequent updates.
Some cats and a sp (dont look like me that much),also a man from my head.
Faces looking tons better! Watch the placement of the eyes, they look a little far apart on both of those. Also try to avoid the outlining of the whole image if you can, leave it light in areas where the light hits or blend it into the background in dark areas. And don't be afraid to push those darks. Good job on the cats as well. Looking forward to more updates
fishspawn-thanks, yeh that was a bad msitake.
random quick stuff 3 sp just trying to get it looking a bit more like me,flat guitar and the guys out of proportion.
sweetoblivion-thanks,yeh that pic didnt turn out to good.

Ok, i like the crosshatching on this recent stuff, but i'd rather see finished drawings. I know you've been spending a lot longer on stuff, but i think it would be a better use of your time to draw people with hands and feet, measure out their proportions a little (with ref if needed) instead of worrying about value - until after you've got whole drawings! Of course you don't have to listen to any of this, just think it would propel you along faster. Keep up the hard work
Im back from skiing, didnt draw much there but i got loads of sp's and anatomy stuffs, think i need to look at lips more, i will do some more full figure studys , some loomis and master studies to.Going to start drawing alot more again.
fishspawn-thanks , i will listen to your advice
When scaning my scanner died so i still have some to show.
Huge improvement on the sp's. As far as your rendering, everything's lookin a bit flat. Make sure you're paying attention to planes. The planes that the light hit should be much lighter than the shadowed planes, you're kinda going all midtone. the quick ones have much better value structures than the ones you spend time on.
blue-Thanls, new there was somthing but couldnt find it , thanks for the pointer.
