Jesus Food - Hehe cheers. I was thinking of having the expression slightly neutral/ subtle so you could make up your own mind about it. Just looking at old historical paintings, they dont give much away and leave it open to interpretation which was what I was trying to do for this.
JeanShade - Good pointers mate. That eye was a hassle! Will try watch out for that in future. Yeah, I perhaps the features were defined too much on the baby. The expression he is supposed to have is one showing hes sentient and aware n mature beyond his age. Kinda like he is a messiah and is aware of the audience. Good point about the hand too! Cheers!
Heres a speedpaint. Gonna try doing more of these.
I like the last environ and the picture of link (Yay, I don't suck!).
Keep up the gooood work man
Congrats again on the graduation, I came to the open day and saw the animation exhibiton and watched the reel. Very impressive stuff, saw some really cool maquettes from your film too, I like all the posters
Liking the speedpaint; very cold, sharp textures and atmosphere in those brush strokes. Jason Chan study is very cool as well. I've started to experiment with a tablet now... so much on this forum alone, nevermind the rest of the net, wouldn't know where to start
Anyway, keep up the good stuff!
