A core concept sketch of my next game project. An abstract world as a metaphor of a Hero's journey and our life.
This is not a first person shooter or action role playing game. The only thing player can do in this game is move around. In this specific game world, you will see lots of people on their journey to the legendary destination. However, no one knows how to get to the destination. As a player who wants to be the Hero, he has to make choices normal people don't tend to make. He has to wise and brave to take the risk to jump over the cliffs, be patient to wait while others don't, compromise between the partners in order to find the true destination he has been seeking.
The sketch here is trying to set up a mood. C&C are demanded...
hmm well i kind of agree with voraz. an other crit is that the "path" that they are about to face Between the montains looks more or less like a waterfall? so its hard to tell if it is a path or a waterfall. else the mood looks kinda sad and gloomy so i like it and the game sounds interesting
My critique is the same as previously, it is still too blurry, you need to give it some detail to make it more interesting. You could do that in the waterfall, in those nearer rocks and in the water splashing. You have used the same bruch for all the waterfall, it would look more interesting if there were more textures in there, right now it is too simplified.
